Get sassy, get moving, its fun!  Working out has never being so rewarding. You have the determination and focus to meet your fitness goals, now you should treat yourself with some comfortable, high performance clothing.

Now days, workout clothing is more than just exercise apparel, it’s a fashion statement. In the past exercise apparel was only for the gym but the modern woman wants more from their clothing. They want versatility, personality and comfort.

Everyone has those days where they want to catch up on housework or curl-up on the couch. Typically you look for those loose fit, unattractive sweats. But  if you need to get supplies to finish your housework, run to the grocery store for dinner, or even pick up the kids from school. That means you have two choices; dash out of the house in those worn down rags or change into a new outfit. Why waste time changing again and again, when you can have the same comfort and fashion all in one piece?

Relaxed and trendy women’s fitness clothing is becoming a must own part of a women’s wardrobe. You get that cozy sweat pants feel, if you want to lounge but you also have the perfect look to go out on a whim. On top of it, you will get the benefit of high performance athletic wear when you hit the gym, since that is what they were intended for.

There are several ways you can make fitness clothing outfit look like casual wear.

1-      Use it as the first layer of your favorite and trendy workout wear.

2-      Throw a yoga wrap on top of it or any of those casual cover-ups to break the form-fitting look.

3-      If you are not going to workout, leave the running shoes behind. Use your favorite boots or flats, which will be comfortable to run around town. Leggings look great with boots.

4-      Take few minutes to fix your hair, put on some gloss and mascara and you are good to go, looking like a fashionista and oh, so comfy!!!

So, is fitness clothing only for fitness? Forget about it!! Let’s get some good looking fitness wear that will save us time and effort. From the workout room to everyday life, use it everywhere!

  • Great tips! I think the best way to showcase our hard earned physiques is to pick which part to show (arms only, legs only etc.) cover the rest with something trendy, and like tip number 2 mentions, skip the running shoes if we are not doing any sports. Of course tip number 4 is the finisher, sometimes fixing our hair, tinted moisturizer with spf, lipgloss, mascara, and sunglasses is all we need to look good and protect our skin and eyes.

I am loving Amanda’s outfit. I can’t show my stomach like that because of surgery scars, but for all the ladies that can do it, flaunt it while you got it. 🙂

  • Great ideas – thanks! I bet it’s especially perfect in the humid summer months.

  • I drop a leave a response when I especially enjoy a article on a site or if
I have something to contribute to the conversation.
Usually it is a result of the fire displayed in the article I looked
at. And after this post Cathe Friedrich – From Fit to
Chic. I was actually excited enough to drop a comment 😉
I do have a few questions for you if you tend not to mind. Could it be just me
or does it give the impression like some of the
remarks appear like coming from brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are posting at other
places, I’d like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list every one of your community sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed? Life insurance trust form – term life insurance company reviews – life insurance book of business
