Hi Karen,
Ok this might sound weird but if you go to Hannaford, they have some Pilates and Yoga tapes next to Customer Service. (At my hannaford I go to they hve them next ot customer service, but they may be in different places at other stores) I think Anna Cabon or something like that makes beginner, Intermidiate, and advanced yoga and pilates vidoes and DVDs that I found there. I have yoga intermediate and advanced. They're pretty good.

It depends what type of yoga you are into. I prefer power yoga. I like the Bryan Kest series "Energize, Tone, Sweat". If you go to videofitness.com, a lot of people are into yoga over there. I'm sure you could get a lot of recommendations.

Good morning Karen,

Yoga Shakti, is a vinyasa yoga practice. You can build a customized home practice using the interactive yoga matrix, or four pre-set guided practices from 30 min. to 90 min. long, and basic to advanced. The instructor is Shiva Rea, who teaches worldwide. Vinyasa means flow.

This is awesome,

If you have digital cable, channel 121 if Fit TV where they have a half hour yoga show called Namaste yoga. It's a Hatha Vinyasa yoga and meditation show by Kate Potter. Iz really good. Ive done it a few times. Also on this channel they have an hour workout show called All Star Workouts where they have 2 shows dedicated to yoga by Sara Ivanhoe. She does Yoga Zen and Yoga with light hand wieghts. (I like that one:)) but shes not on everyday. You havta check TV guide or something because they have more workouts of otehr topics. Hope this helps more!

Hey Karen! I recently got into yoga after a two year absense. Man did I miss it! I have Bryan Kest, Rodney Yee, Baron Baptiste and Power Yoga for Happiness. I really like Brian Kest and Baron Baptiste, but my favorite by far is Happiness!!! It has so many different workouts on one DVD, and the strength mix you can really feel. I am actually getting ready to do that one right now. :) I haven't done Yee's yet, but I love to watch him because his form and flow is so amazing. It is fun to have the different styles and mix them up, and I spent less than $10 per DVD (except for Happiness) on Amazon, so it was a pretty affordable yoga collection.

Have an awesome day!

1. I second this! "Yoga Shakti" is one of my favorite yoga DVDs containing such a wide variety of poses. You can do more heat inducing sun salutations or spend time doing static poses. The yoga matrix allows you to design your own workout is the best. I believe there is over three hours of yoga on this DVD that you can pick and choose from. Shiva Rea is a wonderful instructor -- her voice is soothing and I love to just watch her.

2. I would also recommend "Power Yoga for Strength & Endurance" by Yoga Zone if you are into power yoga -- I sweat quite a bit with this one.

3. Lastly -- in my current rotation is "Yogatopia - The Art of Vinyasa Flow". This one moves quickly and creates a lot of heat. She also has some interesting slight variation on the sun salutations that I enjoy. It is 1 hour in length. Hhhhhmmmm -- I might have to pop that in when I get home from work!

I like Yoga Sanctuary by Shiva Rea. It's 2 CDs that you can mix and match and design your own practice. She also gives you ways to shorten the practice or have a 90 min practice. It's great for your iPod. Also the downloads from Eoin Finn's website are good too.
