End of the fifth week and seven more to go! :-jumpy

I had a pretty good week. My eating continues to be cleaner, however I found myself taking portions that I knew were too big. I compensated by trying to increase my fiber. The problem was that I ate more fiber than my stomach could handle...got to find the balance.

This week I tried Luna Bars. :9 I am severely lactose intolerant and they contain no dairy, a lot of soy protein, and lots of vitamins and minerals. I especially like the Lemon and Chai Tea flavored ones. I am definitely going to coordinate them into my diet for times when I am starving and not home. They are one of the better food choices for on the run munchies.

This week I repeated Week I of my four week, twelve-week rotation. My workouts this week were as follows:

Monday: Powerstrike Millennium II
Tuesday: SH-CB, Aerobics section of Voight’s Strong, Smooth, Moves
Wednesday: Powermax
Thursday: Interval Max
Friday: SH-LS
Saturday: SH-TB, X-train Step and Intervals
Sunday: Yoga, Mind and Body with Ali McGraw and yard work (I hate yard work :-()

I am looking forward to receiving Cathe’s new workouts, hopefully in the end of December. Hopefully, there will not be a big delay because I ordered DVD. It is always so exciting :-jumpy to revamp rotations with great new material.

My main focus next week will be to continue a clean and reasonable diet.

Hope to hear from you all.

Last week was pretty bad for me--only 2 days! Both days I did total body workouts. I did pilates twice but that just doesn't feel like a workout to me. Too relaxing!

A friend of mine has asked for motivation help. I'm sending her a tip a day. This is helping keep me pretty accountable!

Hey Rhonda, meant to e-mail you last week. I know you breathed a sigh of relief when they finally caught that guy. Did it anger you at all that they knew they were looking for a blue caprice and kept telling the public it was a white van? It made me nuts! It surprised me that this guy was up here by us sometimes--I just quit working in Camden a month ago today! YIKES! Glad they are off the streets.

Mixed bag week. DD was in from Nashville so eating went to pot, and my back was giving me problems. Did MIS once, rest of the time did my tai chi or power walked. On weekend felt well enough to really walk--did 6 miles on Saturday and 7, a new record, on Sunday, all at at least 4.3 mph. Eating since saturday has been good.

Hope everyone has a good week.

I am very grateful that they caught the snipers. I am most thankful to all the people who worked so hard to find him and protect all of us. I think they did a wonderful job.

I don't believe that the authorities knew they were looking for a the blue caprice until the end. All the witnesses around the shooting sites kept saying they saw white trucks and vans. Who ever thought they were shooting from their trunk.

Around here, we all assumed that they were local and initially not shooting on the weekend because they were busy with family or job. I think that we are going to find out that the twosome were a modern day Bonnie and Clyde and created a national crime and murder spree.

We are slowly returning to normal. We have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Please give prayers for the victims and their families.

Rhonda
