weird headache thing

hey ladies, thought i'd drop in and report strange happenings in my day. This morning i worked out doing a 45 min uphill fast walk (3.8mph and 12% incline) halfway through i started getting a really bad headache. After my workout i had a nice breakfast consisting of 1 egg, .5 cup egg whit, 1 slice soy cheese, all on a weight watcher bagel and 2 tablespoons of half and half in my coffee. It came to about 350 cals or so. My headache continued and then i started to have blurred vision through my right eye in the peripheral vision field. it was just spots that looked like i was looking under water. this lasted for 30 minutes and scared me as i never had it happen before. during this time i felt really hungry (this was 2.5 hrs after breakfast) so i ate my morning snack of 2 light cheese sticks and 1 medium apple. My headache worsened and i felt like my head would explode. All of the sudden i got really shakey and naseous and i was starving. I felt like my blood sugar was 0 even though i had just eaten 15 minutes ago. So i just grabbed about 20 giant pretzel sticks and 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter and just chowed down. after that my headache magically disappeared and i was fine for the rest of the day. weird huh? could my blood sugar have dropped even though i ate breakfast and a snack? i hadn't eaten much through the weekend or yesterday so mabe my body just freaked out and said 'FEED ME'! I had a little guilt for eating all those pretzels since it was about 500 extra cals worth (pretzels and peanut butter) but i felt so bad. at least i didn't continue to eat crappy for the rest of the day like i blew it.
On a side note, i just payed 200 dollars for the month for a nutrition and training program from an online trainer. I received my program today and needless to say i'm not impressed. The food items are REALLY restrictive even though he had me fill out a questionaire of the foods i enjoy and i don't eat much junk so it could have been included. I think this program will cause me to binge. Also, the weight training program is identical to what i have read in the book "the new rules of lifting for women" I don't think i'm going to do this program and just take the money as a loss. sucks!
tomorrow i'm not sure what workout i will do. either i will do another slim series workout or i will go with an upper body workout from cathe friedrich with some cardio intervals. we'll see how i feel when i get up. sorry this is so long

The nausea and visual things sound like a migraine. Were you sleepy afterwards? You should probably see your doctor about it.

If you could eat you way out of it, it is not a migraine. Sounds more like a hypoglycemic attack.

I would say it is time to play the watch and wait game. Carry on exercising but watch yourself for anything unusual. If it never happens again, I wouldn't sweat it. If it starts happening regularly, then it becomes a pattern and I would definitely consult a doctor.

Feed yourself well for a few days before the workouts, see if you can prevent this from happening again. If you manage to avoid another one of these events in this way, then you have your answer.

I would think you are entitled to a refund, even if partial, if the program offered by this trainer is less than satisfactory. After all, trainers want people who can give verbal or written recommendations for them, in order to attract future clients.
