The Venus Factor???

I saw a posting for this on Cathe's facebook page. I went to the website to see what it was about. I couldn't listen to the whole pitch because after 15mins, I had to stop to get ready for work. I have no idea how long this guy talks for, but too long for me. Anyway, from what I can tell, it's $47 for a book to tell you how to eat to increase your leptin in your body. I've never heard of it and was wondering if anyone here has heard of this and what are your thoughts on it. He also mentioned you learn what exercises to do as a woman, but I already know that because of Cathe. Some of the moves he was showing is what I've been doing for years with Cathe, so I don't need to learn anything there. So I was just wondering if it's worth $47 for a book!!! Any thoughts or insight about this would be great. Thanks

Kim

Hi Kim,

I have not seen, from cathe's page, anything about this Venus factor nutrition scheme. Never heard of it.Now I am curious too and would like to know what it's about LOL.

Hoping now to know:eek::oops::oops::oops:

My curiosity got the best of me and I bought it. In a nut shell, you really restrict your calories for a certain # of days (I think mine was 5 or 6 days) and then the other day you can eat increase your calories for the day to what would be considered the amount of calories you would consume to maintain. Then they also have you rotate the weeks where one week is higher in protein, the next week higher carbs, and I think the other was fat but don't quote me on that. I read the book and figured out what my lowest calorie intake should be. I haven't been following it much. I don't have the time to count all my calories so I have an idea how many calories I eat and go with that. As for the workouts, I didn't even look at them. I enjoy working out with Cathe and have stuck with that.

IMO.... I should have saved the $47 and spent it on something more worth while.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll save the money and do 5:2 fasting instead and will be sticking with Cathe as well. You can't go wrong with her!!!:)
