Hope I am not stepping on any toes but it appears that I am the first one who is awake! Shame on you sleepy heads!
I am up bright and early and I think I am going to do Lowmax, nothing to complicated for these feet or I could end up on my face!Not pretty.Growing up,I use to always imagine falling down and knocking out my two front teeth!:eek: That may be me shortly!
Eating was great yesterday and I am hoping it will go the same today.I am expected to be a little hungrier b/c I am up early so I may have to have an extra snack at some point....

Good morning Lori! You're up early! I got up at 5:30 w/ DH. Lowmax is awesome. When I was I think about 7 or 8, I fell of one of those push merry go rounds at a park, and smashed my 2 front teeth on the pavement. x( Thank God I was able to get them capped and finally bonded! You just reminded me of that! LOL.

Don't mind me my coffee pot is still brewing. :eek:

Great job with your eating! You sound better in just a few short days! That's great. Keep it up!

I'm going to try Charlotte's rotation. (A Toasty Rotation) it's called. But I'm doing it with light weights and extra cardio since I'm into Freestyle right now.

Thanks for joining the threads together. We'll have to come up with a new name for it today so everyone will know where we all are.
We can see what the other ladies think.

Good morning everyone. Lori I was up at 4:15 but I don't post first thing when I get up - I do my workout first before I fall back to sleep :) Then I shower, get my daughter up, make coffee, and then I join everyone online!

This morning I did Core Secrets Accelerated Core Training. I must confess my mind was not on my workout this morning. I'm not sleeping well thinking about those folks in NO. I've been thinking for two days how blessed I am. We had a spot of water on one wall from the rain we had here in Ohio, and part of our roof ridge vent needs to be fixed, and should be tomorrow morning when the roofer arrives. Big deal. Any other time I would have been very upset but seeing those pictures put it all in perspective. I still have a home and it's not under water. I still have a job to go to. I know where my family and my pet is and they're safe.

I'm very depressed today - ignore me. I feel so freaking helpless here and all I want to do is hop on a plane and find a way to help someone down there. It's all so horrible.

HI Gals,

Kali- Thats to funny! They were brand new to,I bet and you just knocked them right out! My God,that must have hurt.

Carol- I have to sit in front of the computer for a bit before I can workout b/c my legs need to wake up.I feel like j-ello if I don't give them a bit of time.
I drank a coffee early today,before my workout and it was to strong.I have brusked my teeth since then and even ate a mint but I can't get the gross taste out of my mouth!I only managed to do 4 seg of LM and I did a seg of Ab hits.I am hoping to go for a run tonight when I get off.

Lori, I used to do that - go online first to see what was going on in the world. Then before I knew it, I had spent an hour or so online and had run out time to workout - OOPS!! LOL!! On weekends however ... I drink my coffee and eat breakfast first, then give it an hour or so to digest before I start in.

Carol, I am so with you about NO. My SO and I are waiting for our employer to announce their matching charities before we donate. They are usually very generous in disaster situations and I would feel like maybe there was a chance the $$ would actually help and not go to something stupid like administrivia. It's terrible to feel so helpless about the world, though.

Yesterday I did the first two segments of Step Blast then switched over to the second segment of PowerMax. I love SB but that third combo is HARD!

I just received all of the new workouts I ordered except the new Step DVD, so I will be doing some previewing later. I think I am doing GS Legs this morning.

Good morning everyone!

First thing on my list for today is to finish sanding and then priming the walls for paint - I can't till I'm all done with this!!! }( If I'm feeling good and energetic, I might go for a run afterwards, but it'll depend on the heat factor this afternoon.

So, what are we going to rename this check-in for the fall season???

Is anyone considering the Sept rotation? This is EXACTLY what I need as my mid-section in particular is an area I need to focus on, and I always say, one can never get one's butt high enough, lol.

Anyway, I am thinking of starting this either today or tomorrow, then using rest days when I can't do the rotation workout (you know, that pesky work/travel schedule I live with) but continuing on until I have completed it, so I will probably go into October. I am also going to take measurements before and after.

Just curious if anyone else is looking at this one.

Also, what would you sub for BodyMax? ME? Circuit Max?

Good Morning Lovely Ladies.

I did the Low Impact Step Circuit premix (included abs) last night and took Joey on 2 45 minutes walks for cardio.

Today is straight cardio and abs but the specific w/o is YTD.

I gotta go eat some more now...I missed my calorie mark yesterday so I gotta make up for it today!!!

Marie, my employer has not only donated over a million so far, but is matching donations. By the way ... I work for an insurance company. :) This makes me happy because at least I feel as if I'm doing SOMETHING.

Marie-I am not doing cathes sept. rotation. Charlotte e-mailed me one this morning that I absolutely love! It makes cathes August almost look easy:) and I loved the august one!

Ok, so I decided to do the Sept rotation and start today. I did StepWorks, which was a very FUN workout, with lots of leg work. I really worked up a sweat on that one!

Carol, I work for an insurance company, too! Small world!! :)

Tomorrow I am going to sub CircuitMax for BodyMax as I don't have that one. Does anyone know if that is a good choice, or would ME be better? Thanks!!

Hi Girls!

I don't have alot of time as I just came in from mowing and now gonna eat some roast beef with a tablespoon of mash potatoes and some cottage cheese. I have been pigging out on the watermelon as well.
Well Terri, which rotation are you going to be doing? Just curious. ;)

Hello everyone.

I just finished eating for the third time today and I am probably STILL gonna have to struggle to get my cals in! lol I had a piece of flounder cooked in "good" butter (no transfats or cholesterol), some whole wheat pasta and a scoop of low fat cottage cheese. YUM! :9

I have been busy cleaning my house this morning in between eating and playing with or feeding my little guy so that is why I haven't been on much and look it's already after 1pm and I've hardly even THOUGHT about my work out yet!:eek:

A big HELLO to everyone and now I'm outta here again. I'd like to finish cleaning and maybe do some laundrymax before I exercise so I must get a move on!

I'll be back later though!;)
 
Okay, the cleanmax for today is done and laundrymax has begun. There is actually only 2 loads of clothes in our hamper so I'm doing the big one right now and then I will work out...This weekend I will take care of Joey's laundry...

Other than that...not much goin' on around here...and this check-in seems quite dead right now as well. lol

As soon as I sign off to do something the party will start, I just know it! :p

It sounds like everyone is having a good day.I have hit my afternoon slump! I am so lazy but I can't really relx yet, I still have work to do.
I am going to go for a walk tonight with my friend but I am not sure what is for dinner.I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

Hmm, ok, I just read the description for BodyMax and I think for the same effect I will sub the step portion of SJP followed by CircuitMax. Do any of you own BodyMax and do you think that would be similar enough??? FYI, I really HATE circuit workouts, but maybe I will learn to love them, hehehe.

Meanwhile, what is anyone doing this weekend? I think we are doing NOTHING! I can't wait. :) The kidlets started soccer last weekend and that is a lot of fun. The little kids especially are so cute! Hmm, this is also a "date" weekend for the SO & I, so I should think of some fun adult activity. Out of the house, of course! }( }(
