STS VS RWH Legs Question

For anyone who has done both STS and RWH, I was wondering what is the difference between RWH LIHI Legs and STS Plyo Legs? I've never done STS, but have both RWH and XTRAIN and other than STS having timed rests, what is the major difference? I really enjoy XTRAIN Cardio Leg Blast and RWH LIHI Legs and was wondering if I should add in the Plyo Legs from STS into my leg routine? I like to do 2 leg workouts per week, one of them I like to be cardio and weight based with heavy weights. I have Cathe's On Demand so I can do the STS now since I never bought the series. Any info would be great. Thanks

Kim

STS Plyo Legs has less reps than RWH LIHI Legs. Also, the plyo move chosen after the weight work doesn't seem to always align with the muscles just worked in the weight section like RWH LIHI Legs does. I really like that RWH LIHI Legs coordinates the plyo move to use the same muscles used during the weight section but plyo legs does not seem to follow this concept. For example, after doing a rear lunge you do lateral jumps, you do plie jacks after doing a 45 degree front lunge. RWH LIHI Legs was what I hoped Plyo Legs had done with coordinating the moves but it has higher reps than I like. Don't get me wrong I like both of them but kind of wish for a merging of the two. Plyo legs reps and timed rests with the coordinated moves of RWH LIHI Legs. HTH!

Thanks for your reply. I too wish that RWH LIHI Legs had more breaks but I'm getting better at taking fewer of them.

The difference is RwH is based on contrast training. All it mean the exerciser get to perform a resistance exercise followed by an explosive
cardio move. This move mimic the resistance move....Both STS plyo and RwH are very effective.
Favourite of mine. The difference in rep range makes the difference.
IMO, workout designed on contrast training hit muscle more intensely. Muscle are hit twice 1) during the resistance move
2) during the explosive move.

Funny I did CLB 75' this morning:):)
RwH, CLB and Lower body blast have been designed on contrast training method.
