Slow and heavy or endurance?

I'm trying to shed a small layer of fat and continue to build lean muscle. For weight training is it best to do slow and heavy weights or less weight but more reps (endurance)? Or should I be alternating between both. Thanks!

It depends on the individual. I find I get better results lifting heavier but that is not the case with everyone. Plenty of folks get great results from endurance lifting.

Try both for a month each and see what works best for you!:)
