Should I get CTX?

Hi Everyone!

I've been working out with Cathe videos for well over a year, and like what's been happening with my body. I am close to what I would like to weigh (within 5 lbs), and I know I could get there if I would clean up my eating.

I work out about 5 days a week, doing either cardio or weights, but not both on the same day because of time constraints. On the days I do just weights, I feel "guilty" for not getting any cardio. I do MIS or PH once a week, and a PS or two, so most of my body parts are getting worked just once a week.

I am frustrated because I when I am doing cardio, I feel like I should be doing weights that day, too, and vice versa.

I am thinking about getting CTX...which are the only tapes of Cathe I don't have yet. I've hesitated doing so, because I wondered if I would lose the definition in my upper body that I have achieved so far. Plus, my inner thighs are horrible, and I keep thinking that PS SLA is the way to go, but I don't do that tape with any regularity.

I think I would do well with CTX from the standpoint of not having to come up with a rotation on my own. I would get cardio and weights every workout, too. But I thought I read on earlier posts that Cathe said that the weight portion of the tapes would be ok for a while to maintain the muscles. If I do these tapes faithfully, all of them, won't I see improvement in my definition, or will I get no better than how I am? Should I stick to PS until I get to where I am happy with my muscle tone and development, and then go to CTX?

Sorry for the long rambling post. I appreciate any and all suggestions, even if the suggestion would be to quit whining. :)

RE: Yes

Actually, CTX sounds perfect for your goals, because 5 out of the 6 workouts has a cardio segment. I don't think you have to worry about losing your training progress for your legs, because one of the workouts (Leaner Legs) is strictly leg strength. Also, the Power Circuit workout incorporates barbell- and dumbbell weighted leg circuits combined with power cardio intervals.

It would be a great series to put into your rotation; each strengthening segment lasts about 10-15 minutes long, and really blasts a specific muscle group. If you're worried about losing strength, just up the weight loads - which you should be doing anyway with the other strengthening workouts you're already doing.

Go wild -

RE: Yes

Thanks, Annette!

The whoosh you hear is me whipping out my credit card! I think these might be just the thing for me. Lots of people enjoy creating routines, figuring out how to mix up their workouts, but I think CTX is perfect for me at this point in time, since I won't have to think about what to do.

I've heard awesome things about Leaner Legs, so I'm anxious to give that one a try!

Again, thanks for your input!
