Personal rotation - Tues Nov 15

Morning all. SJP for me today. I have to let my mind wander during the lunges with the BB or else I can't finish them. It's a mind trick. Any one else do that?

Does anyone use a HR monitor? I use one to get a relative idea of the burn, but I don't think the total cal are accurate.

I use a HRM Phyllis, it is a Polar F4. I really like it.

Yesterday was The Viper and that is one fun w/o. Today is GS Legs. I also think I'll do a segment of Ab Hits. Have a great day everybody.
 
Good Morning Phyllis and Jane and all who follow...

I've not exercised since Thursday. Friday was a rest day and Friday evening I got a migraine. Have been laid up since then (bed, darkness, little movement) so this morning I need to get back on track! I haven't decided yet if I'll do Saturdays workout, or skip to Monday yet. I guess I'll look and see what workout is scheduled for what day and see what I most feel like doing!

I'm definitely NOT up for the Viper yet, but good for you Jane! That's a tough one!
Is Viper on the Nov. rotation or are you doing your own thing?

Rain, rain and more rain here , in fact we are in a flood watch today! and maybe will see some SNOW tomorrow!!!!!
I miss the sun and warmer weather!!

I did go ahead and take off yesterday and listen to my body. thanks girls, I probably would of done it anyway if you and dh hadn't told me to lay off. I am feeling a little better today so I think I can get in PS CST,BBA. I really like this workout!

Yesterday was PS Upper, today is Lower and abs...I HATE leg work! I'd rather do arms and abs any day of the week! Off I go!

MJ are you doing the upperbody rotation the has total upperbody three times a week? Like every other day? I have had to make some changes in mine. I know you said you were leaving two days in between. I hope I will see some changes.

Hi everyone,

Today I am doing....cardio and PLB.I was suppose to run outside but its just to windy out and I hate running in the wind.It feels like I am not moving!

I am thinking about getting a HRM for christmas but to be honest with you, I don't know if I would use it that much.I thinkI would hard enough as it is, I don't think I would push myself any harder..
I still might get one though:)

I just got done with a 3 time through SH rotation last week, so no...Only 2x's a week for PS...Not looking for any more definition right now!

I still think SH gave me the DOMS more than PS, though I've lightened my weights this week...Needed a bit of a break after SH!!

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday was a nice yoga class- Power vinyasa. I could have benefittied from doing extra leg work, but I didn't get to it. I had to keep to my schedule forthe day.

Today will be a circuit day with all cardio being spinning. I am quite thankful to have a bike in my work out area! I'm thinking of doing PUB/PLB bonus with 2" spinning intervals between chapters.

Becky I am sorry to hear about that migrane you expereinced.

Wendy let us know how IMAX3 went.

Hi Lori! I was thinking of getting one too. For the simple reason that Wendy said, to see all that info!

I am done with all of SB. Man I didn't think it was going to ever end. It's raining here too Becky. A couple of dreary days on tap here. Hope you're feeling better.

Glad you listened to your body Kim. You don't do yourself any good when you're not feeling good and try to workout. I honestly think you set yourself back.

I hate working legs too MJ. Of course they are where I need the most work!

Isn't SJP fun Phyllis? I love that workout!

We are getting new living room furniture today between 8:30-12:30. I just love 4 hour windows. Well at least my workout is done. Maybe I'll actually get some cleanmax in today. The boys are out at 12:30 the rest of the week cause of parent teacher conferences so we'll see what I can get accomplished.

Good morning everyone, sorry I am late today!

Did HC Legs today. That was a killer, haven't done that one for awhile...whoo!

Added some abwork at the end just to round things off, have a great day all!!
 
I ended up picking Circuit max, thinking it was a good choice because it tends to be easier...... and whew! it was tough today! I guess anything would be after laying down & doing NOTHING for 3 days and being on medication, but I did it! And I feel accomplished!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I have always gotten migraines, so it's just something I have to deal with every 6 to 8 weeks. I still hate them, but I am used to them, and it could be worse.

Now, off to work on the mountains of laundry that is waiting for me!:eek:
 
Good morning fit buddies,

Today was GS Legs...yikes! Conni, you are right that is a killer. It's a great leg workout. I just wanted to it to be over, gosh, that one never ends;) right? it's 67 painful minutes! Great burn though!
I added 1 session of 10 min Kickbox workout with Kelly Roberts and 21 minutes on my bike. I'm done, that's it for me today:)

Becky and Kim, Glad you are both feeling better. Becky we were wondering where you were and getting worried! SO glad to see you back:)

Today I am doing Gymstyle Chest and Triceps. Either kickmax or a run. Also doing tone it up from the SS. I am doing one of these workouts a day for a week or so. Or did I mention that yesterday :)
Jane-I should order the dvd that the viper is on. All those workouts sound like fun! Tough but fun!
Kali-New furniture? I hate 4 hour windows too! Drives me insane feeling like I have to be home!
Wendy-I hope you aurvived imax3. I have to modify some of the jumps as they hurt my knees.

Good Morning Everyone -

Last night I did Viper too. It was a great 75 minutes. It is such a great combo of some of my favorite workouts. Tonight is supposed to be GS Legs - and I will probably add at least the Turbo Jam 20 min cardio with that.

Hey Becky, good to see you back and glad you are feeling better. I sub'ed The Viper for Circuit Max b/c I don't have CM. It is a fabulous w/o. Cardio from C&W and IMAX2 and weight segments from ME, all of it some of Cathe's best work IMO. The 75 minutes flies by!!
