P90X question?

I'm in my recovery week - finished phase 2!!! YA!!
Well - Is it ok to do some running / cardio during recov. week??
I feel like I could handle it...and I have my soccer playoffs this week and like to do some light running a few days before.
Just wondering what your thoughts are???

PS: I have noticed my strength increasing! pushups much better. Pull-ups, well, still need work. Definately, more flexible from yoga. Muscle endurance is better too. Visiual differences: abs are tighter, arms are toner. I think if I followed the diet, visiual difference would be better.:)
 
Hey Alicia! I've run on all of my recovery weeks. I can't give up my running! ;-)

Great that you're seeing such great results already, keep it up! :)

If you need help w/ pullups, working the negatives really worked for me. I would use the chair to get up over the bar & then slowly lower myself back down (4 count or more if possible). You'll FEEL the burn! }(

Congrats on the progress you're seeing already!

When I did the X, I kept the weights the same but subbed for the cardio b/c I wanted to keep my runs (and some Cathe) in there. I also subbed for YogaX as that wasn't a fave, either. In my experience, if you keep the rotation structure the same, you're fine to sub for cardio and will still get results.
