Hi All,
Comletely off topic, but a friend of mine had a spare ticket to a special "preview" cinema showing of the new Harry Potter film today. I am an avid Harry Potter fan and have read all the books twice (I know, I know - I'm 31 years of age and still a big kid!).
This film is a little darker than the first, and may scare very young children, but has some really good humourous moments throughout. The special effects are brilliant, complete with "whomping willow", "flying Ford Anglia" and, of course, "quidditch". Also, a really gross, but hysterical scene where Ron Weasley's "eat slugs" spell (meant for Draco Malfoy) backfires on himself!!
It was great seeing characters like Dobby the House Elf, Lucius Malfoy (Draco's father) and Gilderoy Lockhart (played brilliantly by Kenneth Brannagh) come to life.
A good, family film - definitely worth the trip to the cinema!
Have a good weekend!
Kaz.
