Hi All! Well, I had a long reply almost all the way typed in last night when our power went out. I should have known better -- it kept going out all afternoon. I'll see if I can remember everything....
Vilma, I just did a light, random thing with kbells yesterday since my pinkies are sore and I'm headed to see Tracy today. I'll tell her about her NC blog fan.
Joanne, Caitlyn must be so happy to be back at school with her friends -- that's terrific, and so amazing! On the kettlebells -- I was paranoid, too, obviously, so I did sign up for some sessions with Tracy. I have definitely learned stuff, but I also think my form was good enough that I wasn't going to injure myself (well, except my pinkies! (-

. I would imagine that with all the dvds you've done, even though kbells are different, you probably have developed pretty good instincts for good form. When you get the kbell, try some swings and just see how it goes.
Chris, that story about the mother and child at your school is so very sad.
Hottie, your avatar is beautiful. Fun to go to Cathe's gym, eh? It was not crowded at all when I was there in July for the road trip -- sure hope all that nice equipment gets more use in the rest of the year! Oh, not snowing here -- not cold enough. We had a nice bit of rain though. 46 degrees when I woke up this morning.
Oh.... I also had a question for you GS fans..... as I've complained about before, it has a big dread factor for me because 1) I hate three day splits -- it just doesn't seem expedient somehow and 2) the legs dvd freezes in my player, so I have to haul out the laptop my hubby wants next to his bed. I can overcome the 2nd problem easily enough, and yesterday I may have found a solution for the first. I noticed that both of the upper body dvds have timesaver premixes that are just over a half hour. I think I'm going to try putting those together on one day. Has anyone ever done that? Viola..... back to a two day split!
I did some pilates this morning in anticipation of the kbell session. Oh, we voted absentee -- I sure hope they're counted! When we got done I saw the instructions said don't use a sharpee or anything that might bleed through. Guess what we used?! And as Larry was taking the stub off the top, he ripped the ballot! So, who knows......
Ok, there's chaos out in the kitchen.... better go......
