Okay, I'm back with another "Carol" review of the next tape in the Body Blast series I just finished !!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is ...
WHEW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cathe, you kicked my butt!! LOL!! I LOVE this workout !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It moves quickly, but not so quickly you can't keep up or have to pause it to grab new weights. You just keep doing new things all the time, so there's very little repitition ... which translates (for this girl, anyway) to no time or opportunity to ever get bored!! The impact is just high enough to keep my heart rate up there, but not so high I feel like I'm working anaerobically. Either that or I'm just getting so much stronger I didn't notice! LOL!! I know my arms and shoulders will be sore from this one tomorrow!! I did ONE pike on the stability ball - YIPPEE!!! Not one I'd want anyone taking a picture of, mind you, but I did get one out of it! The rest were attempts at pikes, but I was able to do the knee pulling thing without a problem. I LOVE doing crunches on the ball!!!! I really felt them!! I used my 8 pound medicine ball in place of the 8 pound dumbell Cathe and her crew used, and that felt more "stable" to me than holding the dumbell for whatever reason. The stretch at the end is AWESOME!! I love the asanas that are incorporated into it!! GREAT JOB, Cathe!!!! I don't know how you do it - keeping them all so new and fresh like this - but I hope you never stop!!!
I also have to share this with all of you. My daughter who is turning 13 worked out with me yesterday. We did CTX Kickbox, and she got through it, but she needs to build up her endurance. This morning, she weighed herself and we took measurements. She wants me to make her a chart like I have, so she can keep track. Tomorrow when she gets home from school, she wants to do Pure Strength Strong Abs & Legs with me. It's so wonderful to see her getting serious about this! She LOVES Cathe's workouts! She never wanted to do any of the Firm with me. She was bored by them, but she loves doing Cathe with me!!
