DH sang in another show up in Michigan (we're from Chicago) this weekend. I had never met Patti before, but she emailed me asking me if DH's band ever performs anywhere in Michigan. I told her when and where he'd be playing, and it just so happened it was at a place she goes to frequently. She came up and introduced herself and I was very happy to see her there! :)

She is a dancing queen. She danced the entire time. She showed me some fun line dance moves too. DH brought her up on stage to help him sing "Sweet Home Alabama". She did a great job with the tambourine. :p

She doesn't post here much, so if you see this Patti...HI!!! :) Hope to see you again at one of the shows. :)

It's so neat the way you've been able to hook up with your fellow Catheites! Does your DH ever play in Ohio?

Dang Dani, I believe you win the prize for meeting the most Catheites outside of the roadtrip!

OMG Laura! That would be one HUGE partying, happening time!!!! He'd bring all of you up on stage!!!! He'd probably have you help him sing "Save a Horse".

Man, I LOVE country music and country dancing! :+
We don't get out to dance nearly as much as we used to when we first started dating. It just became increasingly more difficult for a number of reasons. :-(
The last time we went out country dancing was a month or 2 ago and hopefully will go again shortly after the holidays! It's just sooo much fun! :) :) :)
 
Dani, that is so awesome! It looks like you guys had such a good time! You have made so many friends and met so many people through this forum. I think that we can all agree that you are probably the most likable person to ever post here, you are just so sweet and approachable!

I still have yet to meet Lisa (ZT27) in person! I think she's the first one I ever spoke to on this board about 3 yrs ago. :)

Wow! Not too far from there at all. We were in Ostego, Michigan (near Kalamazoo) at a place called The Bresa. :)

He'll be going up there again in Jan. Let me know if you'd like to go, and I'll make sure I'm there! :p I don't go to all of the shows, but I try to make most of them.

Hi Dani,
It was great meeting you too last Saturday night. You did geat learning the "Save the Horse" dance and I loved playing the tambourine on stage. Wasn't that group to the right of the stage with the band?

JoAnn....Bresa is just up the road from Bittersweet (ski area); Jefferson Road. It's a lot of fun but especially with 101 Ranch Band playing. They are so good and they play danceable songs the entire night. THey'll be back to Bresa the last weekend in January.

Now if we can only get 101 RanchBand to play at The Whiskey Barrel Saloon in Lansing! I love dancing there.

Dani, I'm not sure if I can get a group down to The Stables Feb. 3 or 4 because 101 Ranch is playing at Bresa the weekend before but I'll try!

Tell Scott we can't wait for the band (and you) to come back to Bresa!

Hey Patti! Thank you! I will be sure to tell Scott what you said. I'll mention the place in Lansing. Do they have a website? I'll tell him how much you liked his band, 101 Ranch. He's going to be so flattered!

That group to the right was not with the band. We had no idea who they were but they were really getting into it weren't they? They were awesome I thought! :)
 
Chicago, I'd LOVE to meet you in March when we come to Indy. HOPEFULLY Scott will play in Indianapolis in March. But we must hang out and have lunch before the concert. :) If Scott doesn't play in March, we'll still meet and pig out at the pie place you love so much. :p :9
