How does Ilaria Montagnani powerstrike videos compare?

I just watched some clips of Ilaria Montagnani kickboxing tapes on College Video and I was wondering what other people thought of her workouts? I really have fallen in love with Kickboxing from Cathe's 4DS series and looking for more quality kickboxing DVD's to add to my library.

I love Powerstrike workouts. Her form and technique is impecable and her combos always flow smoothly. I highly recommend the Powerstrike workouts.

Thanks they looked good but maybe a bit fast paced. Does it take awhile to get the routines down?

And I did not feel the combos were complicated even on the first try. There is a slight learning curve, but really not much of one if you've done other kb dvds. I like PS4 better than 5 because I like the music better in 4.

I find that I do need to stay focused when I do Powerstrike workouts, but that's one of the reasons I love them. It engages my mind as well as my body, so I'm not just going through the motions. I think they are very easy to learn, you will do fine with them

Can you tell me how challenging are they? Do you feel like you get your heart rate up pretty well w/ her workouts?

I will tell you that you will work up a sweat! I don't know what it is about her workouts but they make me very sweaty!! But I love them!

Lynn, My heart-rate does get up there with Powerstrike workouts. The more energy and power you put behind your punches, and kicks, the more intense your workout will be. I wear weighted gloves with some of my kickboxing workouts, but I don't think I've ever had to use them with the Powerstrike workouts.

Ya can't g wrong with any of her workouts. There is only one that i think is a tad dull compared to the other ones. To really get my heart rate up there i use 1/2 weights in each hand and it has me burning somewhere in the 400+ calorie range. I have all but one of her workouts. Two of them her latest releases are still in the shrink wrap, I will have to get around to doing those soon. Ilaria IMO has the most spectacular physique, especially her back, it is soooo well defined. I love her accent also!
