how do you post pictures?

I've noticed in a few recent threads that people are posting pictures right in their messages. How do you do that?

I just posted a picture in my message but I don't think I can explain how I did it. What I wanted to do was put a link to the picture trail in my post but I can't figure out how to do that. I really suck at computer stuff--LOL!!

I use picture trail and just click on the url for a forums tag and pasted it here:

I have tried to do that myself and can't get it to come up as a link - it is just text. Anyone want to help out? I even tried posting what picturetrail says is the URL?

Copy the one that says Forum (IMG) tags. I think it is the third one down on the list of urls listed.

Carole--What cute pets you have!! I want to post pictures of my kitty (and my now deceased doggies and kitty), but I would have to have my DH take them to work, scan them, and e-mail them to me. I keep forgetting to do that. One of these days I'm goig to get a digital camera!

LOL Carole, don't tell my mom your dog is named Amy!! ;)

My real name is Amanda, they wanted a nickname, knew 2 dogs named Mandy, so they went with the rarely-used nickname Amy... :D

Love all the photos in this thread!! I'll have to update some of my photos after exams are done, and after we've decorated the house... oops haven't done that yet!x(

I won't!...:)...Amy came with her name, we didn't pick it. But the funny thing is I have a neice named Amy, so whenever she was over it got a bit confusing...:D :)...I think Amanda is a very nice name...:)...Carole

What breed is your dog? We had a Shepherd/Collie mix growing up that looked very similar, except he was smaller with more hair. What a cute pic!!!

Hi Colleen...your pics were great also! Amy is a cross of Yellow Lab and Cheasapeake Bay Retriever. She was great for hunting with my DH as she blended in so well. She is almost 14 now and hasn't hunted in a few years. Cool dog though...:)...Carole

This is another one of my dogs. Although he had cancer and isn't here now...he was a cross of Lab and Australian Shepherd...:)...

I wish he were my dog! He's my canine nephew. Those beautiful country-like scenes are definitely NOT here in NYC where I live. LOL. I love seeing everyone's dog pics!
