Hi Annette,
The information you gave on the post "Is it really 75% diet..." really helped me a lot. I tried the food journal and that only lasted two days. I like to eat whatever I want and it didn't work for me to write it down. After meeting you and seeing for myself how fit you are and that you don't worry about every little thing that you eat proves to me that you are right in what you say. Thanks.

Joanne

Hey, I'm inclined to agree with you guys, just because I HATE DIETING! But, I'm wondering how genetics would fit into this theory.

Hey, Joanne and Julie! Thanks for your kind words!

I've gotta say, I love chewing over the prospects of an upcoming workout in my head, I love planning each aqua class (which I commit to being a total body cardio AND muscle conditioning workout each session), I could spend hours making new tapes for class and for power walking, I could and do spend hours planning how I'm gonna do the new Cathe workouts . . . and I spend about 30 seconds planning what I'm going to eat. And I'm very diligent about recording each workout session on a weekly basis, and I could NEVER keep a food journal.

The freedom from food obsession and food paranoia is one of the real blessings of my life. I remember the days when I sweated each and every mouthful, INCLUDING water (since I saw myself as someone who retained water as well). I will NEVER go back to those days!

Here's to fitness - from the inside out!
