Do you have some experience with weight lifting? What exercises had you done in the past that you liked and feel you could stick to? What sort of equipment do you have now? How much time do you have to exercise? These are questions that would be good guidelines for us to suggest a plan of attack for you.
What sort of food plan do you have? Are you going to follow Weight Watchers or somthing like that? Do you keep a food journal? If you don't, that would be a good place to start, so you can really see what needs to be changed.
Personally, I would not jump into the PS tapes right away since I get a sense that you are at a beginner level as an exerciser. You may want to go to the library and get some videos by Denise Austin or someone else who can work you gradually into weights. Keep the the PS tapes on the shelf and don't use them right away. I see you have some Gilad, Kathy Smiths' and Firms. Use whichever of those are more geared to the beginner. You are NOT ready for the more advanced Cathe tapes yet.
You need to work into an exercise program gradually, and not set yourself up for failure because you tried to take on too much. Try walking for 20 minutes a day, three days a week, and weight training two days per week, doing 6-10 exercises at first.
You can work your way into cardio 4-5 days per week and 45 minutes per session, and more weights, but you need to start SLOW! Baby steps will still get you to your goal. We're not in a hurry here.
Here's your challenge - walk before you run, literally. You CAN do it, so.................Just Do It!
