Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Thurs May 26

Today was cardio. I swear, I'm really in a rut right now. I had NO DESIRE to do anything this morning. I'm sitting there pondering how long I can get away without working out until the bad fat comes back. Isn't that horrible? I don't know, I don't get it.

I pulled myself together and did Rapid Fire, which I'm finding that I'm really sick of. I did the first shadow boxing segment and then skipped to the two kickboxing segments. Didn't give it my all and I was watching the clock to whole time. I hate that.

I really need to get out of this slump. Sorry to be suck a downer lately.
 
I am sure not getting my usual workouts in. I had grandchildren over last night, Dh called while I wastryiing to get in a short workout this morning, I did Brook Bentons Kettle Body Cardio Kettlebell 31 min, 216 calories I was hoping to do the weight one too. I am always out of energy by the evening when everyone is gone,
 
Debbie, sorry you are feeling that way. I keep trying to get enough sleep and these extra early mornings are not helping either.

Yesterday I tried something I hadn't done for a while, Functional Strength, which is one of Tracey Long's workouts and several years old. It was fine but I felt a little blah after around 30 minutes, so then I did some biceps and tricep dips/pushups on my own and then put in Cathe's CCC and did round one then sort of did round two, then some ab stuff on my own and a stretch.

Anyway, I'm not sure exactly when/how, but I tweaked something in my back, a little below the middle on the left side. Does not feel good. I went to yoga class today anyway, though. The yoga didn't bother it, although there ended up being a couple things I couldn't quite do. Tomorrow is definitely a rest day.
