Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Mon May 2

Today I did Kelly Coffey's circuit burn, I don't think I have ever done this, it was a nice change for my body, then I did lower body blast bar segment and the cardio blasts

Today was total body. Had a pretty good workout. I am only working out 4 days this week because I have some plans at the end of the week. So I'm choosing the two total body workouts I want to do. I was suppose to do the 18 rep workout but nope, not doing it.

2 sets/12 reps with 1 minute 30 second rest between each set.

Pinwheels - 20's
Lying Dumbbell Tricep Extensions - 20's
Declind Dumbbell Flyes - 25's
Bent-Over Lateral Raise - 20's
Plie Squats - 45#
Dumbbell Front Raises - 10's

This morning I had to drop my car off at 7:30 so my workout was shorter. I may still go do chest and back later. I did Supreme 90 dy 67 Tabata Inferno, 43 min, 350 calories. Then I did Exercise TV Incredible Abs with Cindy Whitmarsh adding weights, 20 min, 100 calories. Workout was 63 min and calories burned was 450. I pre ordered Cathe's new series. I ordered the deluxe set without looking to see what the cycle one was. Well it looks like if I want to use it I will have to drag my exercise bike out of the shed and clean it up. It needs a cover on the seat or something. Not sure where I will put it:confused:

Meals yesterday were
1-large salad with lowfat dressing
2-romaine wraps with hummus spread, tomatoes, onion, cucumber
3-salad with soy crumbles, chipotle ranch, jalapenos, and salsa

Debbie, nice workout. I would skip the one I didn't look forward to as well:)

Roselyn, I like Kelly's workouts to change things up a bit.

Yes, Kelly was good not as intense as I am used to, what other dvds do you like Diane Sue?

Meals today

M1-cereal and blueberries
M2-protein shake
M3-apple, peanut butter
M4-don't know today is hubby's bday and we are going to watch our St. Louis Cardinals play, we have the "green seats" which is all food and drink free (good and bad), we get to eat at a buffet first so I am going to have my meal there, I just can't do the baseball food like nachos and junk, may have some popcorn later, the kids and my husband love it when we get these seats from his office, you can see why!!

On my eats yesterday I forgot a meal:p low sodium v 8 juice and Amy's Bowl Brown Rice and Vegetables.

Roselyn, did you mean Kelly's. Most of hers are intense enough but not killer. You still get results with them. ANd a plus for me is that I enjoy them. You can make them harder by using heavier weights. I particularly like Power Lifting on her 30 Min to Fitness Lift dvd. This also has Olympic lifting which is not that easy IMO. It keeps building to doing all of the moves in a flow together. I have tried both dumbbells and the barbell for this. It is not easy. I cannot go very heavy with it. There is a floor premix on this that uses the barbell that I like. I enjoy her Cardio Blast which has a plyo blast workout and a step workout. There is a premix that includes both and is nice. Since I have not done all of the new ones I can't really say how I feel. I also like to see if they are a workout I keep going back to. I liked the upper body on the Split sessions, but not a lot of different moves from what we usually do. I would go heavier on most next time through. But interestingly I had soreness in my delts and mid back yesterday. Probably those pulses that she added to that part. They do that to me a lot.
Edited to add that I cannot believe I forgot Bootcamp. Mostly for the premixes but it is also a good weight cardio workout. The cardio only premix is nice for an add on and that bonus stretch is great.

Thanks for the input Diane Sue, I have many of hers and I just have not done them, so I am going to start and see which I like. Anyone going to order Cathe's new ones? They are low impact Debbie, I know you talk about jumping and our knees.
