Getting it done for March 2015

Good morning,

I will do 21 Day Fix Total Body Cardio Fix and I am starting SBF new challenge today. I just bought 21 Day Fix Extreme with free shipping:p I LOVE 21 Day Fix so far. I only bought the new set, I will wait until Beachbody has another sale.

What are your plans today?

I will be back later today.

OMG, it's March already!

Today's wo was D11 - now done with M1. :D Can't wait for the next 2 Meso's 'cause I get to lift heavier weights!

Not bummed about the lack of weight down this week. I've been losing 1-2 pounds since the beginning of the year, so I think that's great progress. This is a cardio week, so I'll still be on track as long as I keep the eating clean - which may be hard to do with both my guys home on spring break this week (yep, DH gets it, too). However, DD home sick today with the flu, so we're hoping no one else gets it. :(

Belinda - High five! Also, you are such the enabler, Miss I-have-so-many-DVD's-already! ;)

Waving Hi to Heidi and Sara! What did you get done today?

Hope you had a good one. Catch ya tomorrow!

I know right! March? what the?...
Well, I'm up six pounds since September. I stopped weighing b/c I can really obsess, but now look what happened. :( Now I'm really going to have to put my nose to the grindstone. I had noticed my pants were tight, but I've been a pretty careful eater so.... I'm back on MFP and weighing and measuring food. I sure hope I can get down. So this morning I did RWH Plyo 1 and Pyramid Hiit, and tonight I rode a premix from ride for 30 minutes. I know I won't be able to do doubles everyday, but if I can get in a few a week I'm hoping it will help. I'm so bummed.

Sherry, congrats on your weight loss. It truly is an accomplishment. It'll be nice having the kids home, but you're right about how they effect eating habits. Hopefully no one will get sick. Have you had some relief from the snow?

Belinda, good job on your workouts. Thanks for starting a new thread.

Hope you have a good week.

Good morning,

I will do 21 Day Fix Upper Fix and SBF UB + Core + Stretch today.

Sherry - congrats on the weight loss an finishing M1. Enjoy your recovery week.:p LOL, you are so right :p I do have enough wo dvd's already. I wasn't gonna order anymore, but DH LOVES those workouts. He like them better than Cathe's workouts. And they very good travel workouts too. Very intense. You need 2 set of DB's or a tubing. That's it. Hope your DD feels better soon.

Sara - you can do it! Those pounds are gone before you know it.

Hi Heidi!!

I will be back later.

Good Evening!

Today was a run day - nice and short 1.5 mile run. Hip/knee all feeling good - I need to stick with 2 LB days. I really think that's been a key.

DD stayed home again, but feeling really good right now, so only a 24 hour bug. Now, waiting to see if anyone else . . .

Another couple of inches of snow today, but then temps did get above freezing. Almost a heat wave!

Sara - High five on the doubles today. Get 'em in when we can, right? Diet is 80%, right? It's just so, so hard. But I'm trying to be focused and hold myself accountable. Planning and MFP are really helping me, plus lots of mental work - goal setting, visioning. Using BFFM's approach.

Belinda - Good job on your wo. DH loves thems? Hmm - the eye candy? Or that they are so short? Hadn't considered them yet . . .

Waving hi to Heidi!

Catch ya again tomorrow!

Good morning,

I will do 21 DF Lower Fix and SBF Lower body.

Sherry - he thinks Autumn is too skinny :p Jokes aside, she really did a fantastic job putting the exercises together, they flow well. You hardly get a break and you work the entire 30 min. Before you know it, it's over. Plus you don't need a lot of exercise equipment. Great when you travel. He said, Cathe takes to many breaks in XT:D

Hi Sare and Heidi :D

I will be back after my workouts. Happy Hump Day, everyone.

Happy Wednesday,

I squeezed in a Cyclemax premix last night, and will do Low Impact 1 + X10 Low impact and abs1 this morning. I'm hoping to get in a short run this eve, but the day and my energy level at 5 will be the judge of that. :)

Waving hi to Sherry and Heidi.

Mmmmm……I am still here too :)

Late afternoon check in for me.

Hello to you all!

Yesterday was RWH chest, shoulders and triceps with abs #1.

Today I did Athletic Training. What was I thinking! LOL! My triceps were already super sore from yesterday. Oh I am feeling it all now!

You all are doing awesome with your workouts!

Sherry: Keep up the great work on the weight loss. Sorry to hear about your DD and glad she is feeling better now. Keep my fingers crossed it is the end and no one else catches it.

Sara: Getting back on track is key plus eating clean. Your doing great!

Belinda: Oh the temptation! LOL! I have been hearing a lot about that 21D Fix program. How many workouts do you get? Is it from Beach Body website? Awesome job to you and your DH for doing this program together! :)

Have a great evening!
BBT for sure
Heidi

Plan for tomorrow: Running! ;) I have Turbo Barre listed but there is no way I will be up for more upper and lower body work. ;)

Good evening,

Sara -I was on this forum early in the morning :D I agree, with Heidi count your cal and stay on track is the key. I have a Fitbit which is keeping me moving all day long :D

Heidi - 21 Day Fix is from Beachbody. Today is the last day where you get Free shipping:D Yes, DH and I are doing 21 Day Fix together and he really likes it.

Sherry - how is your dd doing? Great job on your workouts.

Good night, ladies.

Morning Ladies,

Today I will do RWH Chest/triceps/shoulders. This one is a toughy. Since it's relatively short, I'll add on a short aerobic wo. went for a short (2 1/2 mile) run last night. So far doubles everyday this week, but tonight I won't b/c I have to work late, plus I want to be conscious of burning out.

Belinda, 21 Day Fix looks fun, but do you always do doubles b/c it's short?

Sherry, don't worry about your plateau, that always happens and then it'll move. Anyone else get the flu?

Heidi, I hear you on the biceps - the whole chest workout in this series is a killer that leaves its mark for days. :) That's one of the things I love about it though.

Coasting in to Friday - hope your Thursday goes well.

Good morning,

This morning I will do 21 Day Fix Pilates and SBF UB.

Sara - I been doubling up on workouts since Nov 2014, didn't wanted gain weight during the holiday's. What helps me is my Fitbit, I have to get at least 10K in every day. I usually have more that that:D I walk a lot to get my steps in regardless of the weather. 21 Day Fix workouts besides the Fix Cardio doesn't give me a lot of steps. I haven't walked the dogs outside in a few day's. In that case I do a indoor walk with Jessica Smith DVD's/Youtube or Leslie Swanson. :) I even walk while watching TV:p I try not to do a lot of high impact workouts, maybe once or twice? It seems to work for me. I am still losing weight. I still watch what I eat, I am not that strict about it anymore. WTG, RWH Chest/triceps/shoulders today.

Hi Heidi and Sherry!

I will be back later.

Sara: Awesome job with your workouts! I do the same with shorter workouts. Adding a little extra cardio is perfect.

Belinda: I will check out 21 Day Fix but I most likely will pass on buying. Just curious though... ;) Great job on your workouts as well! :)

Sherry: How are things going with the crowd at home? Hope your DD is back on her feet. What is your plan this evening?

Today's workout is completed as of this morning:
An ifit run of 2.5 miles: this was interval based with ever increasing speeds and hills. Maxed out at 8.% hill and 7.7 on the speed.
Next was a great spin workout from Studio Sweat On Demand. March 1, 2015 with Brooke "Turn and Burn" 43min and 9+ miles. YES I FELT THE BURN! LOL!

Legs are fried! from yesterday and this morning. There was a good easy stretch at the end of the SSOD WO which I appreciated.

Tomorrow's plan: LIS Cardio Super Sets!

Have a great evening everyone!

Heidi

Hi all!

Yesterday was a rest day. DD back to feeling great and going to school, but DS was sick. No, he didn't get the flu; instead he got strep. These things don't come in three's, right? Better that he was home than at school I guess, but DH isn't getting nearly the things done around the house that I hoped he would this week since he's dealing with sick kids during the day.

Today - got in a 2 mile run and stretch. Enjoying this "recovery" week.

Belinda - You are doing great this week. Glad you are enjoying 21DF. Nope, didn't order . . . yet. Too funny about "skinny". I think my DH used to "watch" me wo back in my Firm days for the eye candy. Glad the Fitbit is helping keep you on track. Waiting for the longer days and warmer weather to get the dog out more - that's next, right? (hoping!)

Sara - Keep it up. Double up when you can, but I"m finding it's the eating that's really making the difference (that's what the experts say, too - took me awhile to listen to them). How's your body handling recovering from the doubles?

Heidi - You have really increased on cardio - both intensity and duration. Great job! Just love when the muscles talk to you the next day after great strength work. Then really talk to you on the 2nd day after. LOL!

Tomorrow's Friday - almost there. Make it a good one!

Good morning,

After my coffee I will will do 21 Day Fix Cardio Fix and SBF LB Barre.

Heidi - shorter workouts and adding a little extra cardio (walking) is working for me. Nice job on your 2 miler.

Sherry - glad your husband is feeling better. I don't think weather ever ends, we are covered in snow:(

Sara - have fun with your workout today.

I will be back later.

Sherry - oh no! Strep is so awful. The fever can be a real killer and if the antibiotics aren't strong enough, it can just come right back.

Belinda - I'm interested in shorter wos, but I'm looking for somewhere in the range of 20-30 mins. Any thoughts? Anyone else have any suggestions? That's about all I can squeeze in in the evenings.

Heidi - I hope you can get through Supersets with your DOMS today. Sometimes just working out helps them go away.

Thanks all for your support around my weight gain. It's really hard for me b/c I've never really been a gainer, and have a little bit of disordered thinking about my body image so I'm working on that too. I eat super clean, but did let it get loose in the last year, or so. Also, I usually never drink wine during the week, but had let that slip too; so now I'm back on track and trying to be patient. I'm a school counselor in an all Kindergarten school, so I'm moving all day. I haven't tracked my steps this year (battery dead, too lazy to change it), but last year I got between 15 and 20K a day on top of my workouts, so I think I move enough during the day. I also haven't tracked my calories since last year and realize that (as every MFPer knows) I was underestimating my intake quite a bit. Back to it so it's all good.

Today I'll do RWH Plyo 2 + X10 step + abs 2, and if I have time, I'll add another X10 onto it this morning. I love the shorties and how you can just add one in if there's time. Tonight I'll aim for a short run.

Happy Friday All!
