Friday Night Blues

I'm home too. I'm always home on Friday nights! I'm bummed, I usually don't work on Fridays but I went in and my boss didn't seem to appreciate my extra effort very much. I don't work on Fridays because I usually use them as study days for school. So now it's after 9:00 and I've got to study! DH will be working all weekend- tonight he'll probably get home about 1:00am. Same with Saturday and Sunday, so I won't see him. Wah.
So that means I'm reading about the constitutional rights of privacy (rather, the lack of a constitutional guarantee of a right to privacy, and how we try and make it in there somehow) and abortion. Ick. Not very uplifting!
But I left all my mats out on the floor so I'll be ready to do a circuit workout tomorrow! And one of my cats has decided to snuggle with me as I'm sitting under my heated throw.

Amy - you post made me wonder - do you also have a cat who likes to lie on you when you are doing excercises ! Mine has recently decided its a great time to lie on me!
I had a nice Friday (home). I'm getting to be really close with a guy at work. We are both very strong people and in the past had somewhat butted heads (we have opposite sides of a project). He was on a trip this week. It was really nice we chatted a lot. It was 6 hr time difference so last night after midnight for him and 6:30 for me. He said he will call when he gets back. I'm excited, nervous, scared all in 1 ! We are planning to go out for dinner this week and he suggested we go for a run sometime.
Its been so long since Ive had a very close best guy friend. My old boyfriend/best friend passed away from cancer in 00. Last year I had so much to focus on making a connection with someone was the last thing on my mind. The guys I dated since 00 recently were more "dates" cute, fun but no real connection.
