DO WHAT YOU WANT, JUST GET IT DONE FOR APRIL 6, 2011

Hi and good morning,

I never did my abs yesterday:mad: I will do legs and abs today! Can't believe I am almost done with STS:confused:

I don't know if I mentioned it or not? My husband hurt his hip a few month ago. To make the story short, he is moving since Nov last year like a 90 year old:mad::eek: and it's not getting any better. We took a walk with the dogs on Sun, the dogs and I almost felt asleep walking that slooooooow. Well, he saw the doc yesterday again, because I am on his butt about it:eek: He saw 3 different doctors for the same problem, not one of them saw on the MRI that it wasn't fluit in his hip (which they told him will take up to 2 years to heal), it's a piece of flesh stuck in his hip bone, which is causing this:eek::eek:WTH? He is seeing the doc again on Thursday, to talk about surgery:eek: They all need to figure something out, I have never seen my husband limping and in so much pain since last year! If he gets surgery this week or next week, we may have to push the move a few weeks:eek::eek: we are getting ready for a big move not only in Germany, but also in the US! I can't do all the moving by myself, I go nuts!

I will be back later!

Happy Hump Day!

I actually got up and did a workout this morning! Basic Step, but that was enough for me today at this hour.

Belinda - (((hugs))) Hope it all works out!

Be back later to catch up on personals and such.

Morning!

Great job on your workouts Belinda and Sherry! ;)

Ouch! Your poor DH! Sorry to hear about that injury for it must be frustrating for him as well. (((Hugs))) to you both!

Sherry: How is everyone on the home front? Is your DD still having headaches?

I just completed my workout and boy was it tough!
B&G standing portion only
STS pilates abs

Off to shower and work.

Hello to all that follow! Make it a good one!
Heidi ♥

Ok, finally got a chance to catch up.

Starting with this week is Spring Break for the kids, which was very needed. DS was getting the workload piled on, and was an absolute bear with it. Doean't help that he's a teenager, too. LOL! DD's headaches are going away, with only a small one on the morning and good the rest of the day (Thanks for all your well wishes). Told her it's now time to start catching up on homework from the missed week of school last week. She's so tired of doing nothing and anxious to get out and about. We're going to try some vigorous walking today to see how her head feels, and if good, keep stepping it up from there.

The weekend with the family was great. Dad was surprised with the party. Nearly everyone was there – family and friends. He joked that this was his attendance prize for waking up every day for 70 years. We ate way too much – St. Louis style pizza, toasted ravioli, Steak 'n Shake fries, birthday cake. Dad wanted to be sure to have a cake when we were there, didn't know there was another one for the party. He and mom also made cookies. Homemade are always the best. Now gotta start downloading all the photos. I think there's about 250 on my camera!

Took advantage of the kid's being off (and hence not getting them out the door) to get in a cardio workout this morning. Decision was easy right after I got on the scale and saw I did indeed gain about 4 #'s over the week (between the trip and stress over DD's head last week). Who knows, maybe I'll actually start a new habit. I know BS so well that I'm on autopilot when I do it. Looking forward to getting rolling with Meso 3 this week and also starting to pick up the running (outside, still no treadmill but also no ice or snow!). High school has already started track, and middle school starts next week, so gotta keep up with the kids.

However, my uncle who lives here in town went back in the hospital last night, so there might be some running around the next few days checking on him and helping my aunt out. They didn't go out of town to the party (my aunt is my dad's sister) because they were considered about his heart, which is exactly why he's back in.

Belinda – Hope they get it figured out for DH soon. It's not good that he's been in pain/discomfort for so long. And since its right before the move, I'm sure that's only sending stress levels higher.

Heidi – B&G gets me every time. Standing portion is usually enough as legs are fried from that alone!

Hanna – Welcome. We are all at the same point – just trying to take care of ourselves amid the activities of life.

Hi to everyone else.

I think that gets me caught up. Now back to work. Hopefully back tonight to report my workout.

Hi Sherry! Wow your plate is full indeed! I know the routine well when it comes to the hospital stays...been in that situation lately as well.

Sounds like a great time with your Dad and Mom for his 70th birthday party. :) Love his sense of humor!

So glad your daughter is doing so much better. ♥ :)

How is your DH doing?

I hear ya on keeping up with the kids! Loved the days when my daughter was in track and cross-country! I did more running then than at anyother time. It really kept me in shape...had to be in shape to keep up with her! :) Miss my runs with her now that she is moved out. :(

I have been slowly picking up the outdoor walking to get my legs used to the road again. With the weather getting better I am getting excited for at last hitting the roads and trails for some longer runs. :)

Enjoy your walk with your daughter! :)

My legs are feeling ok except for a little slow going on the stairs...can't wait until tomorrow! HAHA!

Hello to all that follow! I will try to get back later on to see who else checked in today. :) We are having a small party for my 16 year son for today is his birthday. :)
