who else cried at the mayday call and the drama unfolding?! i didn't want to wait until next week so i looked up the news articles about the katmai and i just want to ball my eyes out. its so sad, and to hear the call and see the look on the skippers' faces. dh always jokes "hey can i work on the boats"(norwegain family worked on numerous fishing vessels), i just looked at him he knew don't even joke right now.

on a happy note damn the time bandit did it again,on the crab!!

This has been such an emotional season already. With Phil & Keith's medical problems and bad weather coming .....bad fishing......and now the mayday call.
So sad.

It was a really good episode I cried, too with DD and DH. I am just riveted by this show when it is on, even the ones from older seasons, but especially this season so far (only 2 episodes so far...I know!!)

And YES!! Time Bandit rocks!!! My favorite!!

This is must see TV for me!

I didn't cry, but the whole situation really hit me in the gut.

bceogirl - I was so heartbroken for Phil when they showed the boat pulling away with him left on the dock. I hope Murray finds a "honey pot" for them.

I found it fascinating to watch how they deploy when a disaster happens. These are hard working dedicated people. Personally, I like the Keith guy. He's snarky like me.
