Good morning fitness folks...

Yesterday was a rest day due to an loonnnggg 12 hour work day.

Today I am following the December rotation but I don't have PP so I am doing PUB/PLB bonus combo and I am adding on cardio - IMAX2 intervals 1-5

Afternoon Jane,

Jane, nice w/o you've got planned for today ;-)

I did a 5K run this morning plus PLB UP only (standing exercises).

I'm feeling OK after yesterday's w/o marathon. Legs were a little stiff but my warm up loosened them up. Was kind a expecting to have knee problems, but not a twitch. I did have major cramps just behind my knees last night. And it took me a bit to find out how to stretch the cramp out. Weird place to be cramping.

I'll be celebrating Sinterklaas today. The office closes at 4PM, so I'll be home early to brew a big pot of hot chocolate and buy some very nice cookies and chocolates to go with that. Not sure what the kids want for dinner, but I'm sure it'll be high calories too.

YAY! Today is the first day of the Dec. rotation for me and I am doing push/pull. Will add on cardio too if there is time.

Yesterday I rode my bike for an hour, then took a family walk in the evening, with dh, dd and her new step son (ss?)

Yes, Sinterklaas is the original Santa Claus. The Dutch and Germans brought him to the US long time ago with the early immigrants. The name was anglicized (sp?) and his appearance changed. As was the date of celebrations moved to the 25th. Can't remember why right now.

We celebrate Sinterklaas mostly for the kids, then do it all over again at Xmas.

We have these "battles" between purists who don't want any Xmas decorations in the shops before Sinterklaas and the retailers who want to sell the Xmas decorations as early as possible.

I'll admit it is strange to see the Xmas trees everywhere before 5 December.

Dutchie! I miss Sinterklass day! My father is dutch and we used to get big blocks of chocolate in the shape of our initials. I can only imagine the workout needed to get rid of those calories now!

Yesterday I rested and worked on my scrapbook. This morning I woke up supper early and did Imax 3 and coremax! I think my heart is still racing 2 hours later!

Good Morning Ladies.

Today is a short kickboxing w/o and f/b weight work.

I will be going very light on lower body as I'm trying to follow a Freestylish type rotation and will be going heavy on upper body. I'd like to "even myself out". I'm not actually a pear shape truly but I DO hold any extra weight/bulk in my lower half so if I have beef up my upper body and slim down my lower body I think I'll be good to go! :)

I think I'll do CTX kickboxing and leaner legs. I'll decide later which U/B work I will do....

Ahhh, the traditional Sinterklaas chocolate initials. I bought big decorated ones for my kids. Plus ofcourse the Sinterklaas figurine in chocolate. Not to mention this special Sinterklaas pastry shaped in his initial(S). I stay away from all of it. I just have some cookies ;-)
 
Jane...I'd rest too after a 12 hr work day! You have a good workout planned.

Dutchie...Sinterklaas sounds like fun. I haven't had hot chocolate in a long time. You did great yesterday doing the killer w/o marathon.

Jeanette...Imax3 does get your heart pumping!

Tammy..PUB is a tough workout and one of my favorites.

Wendy...good luck with your freestylish workout! I know for me when I cut back the weight amount I used for LL I was amazed as I still got sore.

Today was GS chest/tris/back. I hope to get some coremax in later today.

Dutchie: my son had to do a small paper about Sinterclaus last week. I never heard of it until we looked it up, it was very interesting
to learn about.

Everyone sounds like they have great workouts plannned.

Hi all, I am back.

It was very hard seeing my mom the way she is now. She is golden yellow with sunken in cheeks making her appear 15 years older than she is, plus she has lost weight. She is only 65 but looks 80. I held it together up until Saturday night and I cried myself to sleep and then Sunday morning before church I lost it (she didn't get to go to church so I had to tell her bye before we left and then left from church to go to the airport), I cried all the way to church and during church and Sunday School (I am starting to cry now just typing this;( ). I was a basket case. Anyway she is still positive, though very weak and tired all the time. She really really needs this liver transplant but can't get into UNC till Feb. 3rd to even be considered,sigh. Anyway keep her in your prayers.

I did CTX Kickbox and abs off of Leaner Legs today.
