Morning Coolers,

This morning was Disc 7 Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Sorry I was MIA yesterday, but my computer was kicking me off the internet.

Patricia, Dang on the food poisoning, that is not a pleasent experience. Dang on the daycare, yep that can be a problem with in in home. Have a great time with your parents visit.

Kim, That is nice that your sewing machine is the same on they have in school. Did you survive the field trip? That is really cold. My youngest DD has a field trip today.

Have a great day!

Afternoon Coolers

Well, I think I'm over the most urgent stuff here at work and I can calm down.... DH was able to book DS at the YMCA for spring break. I couldn't believe it this close to the date! Plus I have coverage now I think for April for when my daycare is on holidays so things are looking up today!

Have to pack tonight and go over everything with my parents so probably won't be doing any workouts until we get back next week. I'm anticipating doing a lot of walking though! I'm not taking my computer so I'll be MIA.

Kim - I saw the March rotation - are your buns firm from February's:D:D

Laurie - don't you hate when computers don't work. I just want to be able to point my mouse and GO!

Morning Coolers,

This morning was Supreme 90 Legs, and it was nice to get a leg workout done in 30 min. :D Of course feeling like I got a good leg workout in also. It was a good thing that I only had a 30 min workout planned, because my brothers dog is visiting us this week (they are at Disney), and she managed to get her muzzle in a burr bush. She is a Scottich Terrier, and has that mustache. That was full of the burrs! So with the help of DH we managed to get them all out, she was really good about it all.

Patricia, Glad things are starting to calm down for you. One of the guys I work with is going to be in Vegas this weekend. I told him to go to the race. :D

Have a great day!

Okay, no workouts for me yet this week:eek::confused: No excuses, I just got to find a new daily routine, as I'm now working 4 long days instead of 5 shorter ones, longer commute with rush hour as well. Kid's evening activities are farther away. I'm going to put the March rotation in the workout manager starting today and get a routine figured out.

Aw, poor puppy:( I survived the field trip but I have to say I didn't enjoy it alot as I don't speak French (it was all in French) and it was cold! But the kids seem to have fun.

Patricia So glad you got the spring break daycare worked out! Have a great holiday!

Hello Coolers,

I got into work at 7am this morning for an all day training. That means right now I have less than an hour to work! :D This morning was three 10 Min. sections from Knockout Body workout.

Kim, Dang on the longer days. Does your new area offer those same activities where you now live for the future? I went from a longer drive and more rush hour traffic when I took on the current job I have now. I guess eventually you get used to the drive.

Have a great day!

Enjoy your early weekend Laurie! Yes, the new area has the activities we're just finishing the season with the old ones like the hockey team.

I guess the street construction guys knocked out the cable servcie so we were without phone/internet/tv for a whole 24 hours:confused: My kids were lost as to how to spend the evening yesterday:rolleyes:

I did do GS chest/Triceps and plates/wts abs from Ab Circuits yesterday. The weights felt hard as I haven't been doing much strength work lately! I'm going to get going on KPC soon.

Took ds for his pulmonary function study at Children's Hospital this morning. The test showed that he is a severe asthmatic. It seems to be just documenting what we already knew but I think the point was just to get a baseline while he was doing well.

Hope your having a great time in Vegas, Patricia!

How's your week going Laurie?

I just finished the first week of the March rotation, it feels good to be back into a routine with exercise and work.

DS's hockey team made the city championships! They are very excited. It will be a best of 5 series starting on the weekend.

Morning!

Disc 34 Chest & Back for me this morning. Dang weather! We where suppose to have rain, but the snow is coming down heavy and fast!

Kim, I'm doing ok this week. Was a little tired on Monday from the funeral and then traveling. Congrats to your DS on the championship. Will they have a celebration after all it done?

Have a great day!

Morning Coolers

I'm back. Well got in Tuesday evening but this is the first breather I've had:eek: Had a great time and good weather in LV. Let's see, we crammed in a lot! Drove to Fire Canyon/Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, then went to The Gun Store and shot some machine guns/hand guns/ saw Eric Clapton in concert, went to the race on Sunday and drove dune buggies in the desert! I need to come back to work to rest but I'm not complaining! The only thing I didn't get around to doing was zip lining!

3 other couples came with us. My DH's brother and SIL were to fly from Vancouver but her mother is sick and it didn't sound like she would make it out of the hospital so they had to fly here instead at the last minute. Her mother seems to be pulling through and coming out of the hospital this weekend though so thats the good news. They're only 1hr away and came over for dinner last night so at least we still got to visit with them.

Have a busy night tonight so will probably not get back into the swing of excercise until the weekend. My parents stayed an extra day so I came home from work yesterday to all my laundry being done!:D

Sounds like we're all in with longer days/commutes lately. I'm getting used to it now plus the pressure is off to get caught up now that my vacation is over. DH hasn't been assigned to a project since we've been back, but overseeing several so kind of working out of his truck and making his own hours so its relieved some pressure on me for daycare and time restrictions.

Kim - so are you settling down now into the house? I think I looked at that March rotation and said NOT!:D Good on you if you can still fit it in with working longer hours. Its great that your DS can be so active. It also shows that just b/c you have health issues there is no excuse for sitting on the couch. Good Luck to DS in the championships this week!

Laurie - did you watch the race on Sunday? I can't believe how boo'd Kyle Busch was when his car blew up. One of the guys we went with is a huge fan and he takes a lot of ribbing for cheering for him. I cheer for Jeff Gordon and was disappointed when his engine blew up. He was running such a great race. Once he was out of the race I didn't know who to cheer for.

Okay, gotta get to work now.

Morning Ladies,

Today I did Supreme 90 Legs, sure do like this workout.

Patricia, I did get to watch the race, was happy with the outcome. Seemed like a lot of cars where blowing engines during that race. I was happy with the outcome, I like Carl Edwards (not my favorite). Glad you had a good time in Vegas, you sure got to do a lot during you time there. I know I would have been very happy to have missed the zip lines.

Have a great day!

WOW, what a great sounding trip Patricia!! Sounds like your schedule is getting a little lighter! The March rotation isn't a super difficult one, lots of upper body strength/abs.

PUB done today should have some DOMS tomorrow. DD did the stability ball abs with me:rolleyes: Lots of rolling balls, not alot of ab work.

Who's funeral did you go to Laurie?:(

Lots of sports watching happening here. We're of course on a Winnipeg Jets watch (Phoenix Coyotes sale):rolleyes: and my coworker's husband is in the curling champsionships (Briar) and is doing very well.

Morning Coolers,

Supreme 90 Tabata Inferno for me this morning.

Kim, Those stability ball abs in PUB are tough! Nice that your dd got into it also. The funeral was for my Uncle, he is my Dad's sisters husband. We are going through that cycle in the family right now, and it truly is going to get harder and harder to deal with. What! I would be turning on the cooking shows! :D

Have a great day!

Enjoying a nice quiet Sunday. DD is still sleeping and DH and ds went to his hockey game. Today is the first game in the best of 5 series for the city championship. DD and I skipped today's game as it was early and far away but will try to get to tomorrow's game.

We had a blizzard on Friday but it didn't really hit till the evening so everyone was home nice and cozy. They had been predicting it for days so no surprise. We aren't complaining when we compare ourselves to the other weather conditions on Friday:(:(:(The whole thing in Japan is so sad. My uncle is there on business, but has emailed that he is okay. Not sure when we'll see him home.

Exercise wise I got KickMax Friday night, LIC yesterday and today's workout is so supposed to be a 45 min cycle so I will do something cardiowise for 45 mins but I'm in no hurry as I have the whole day. I'm enjoying this rotation, lots of variety.

Patricia Hope you got some breathing space this weekend. Your right about no excuses for exercise. It goes hand in hand, he has severe asthma but exercise keeps his lungs strong and helps keep it controlled (I think) if he sat on the couch he might have more problems.

Laurie It is hard being in that life stage not much you can do about it though. LOL on the cooking shows. One more big curling match to go (this afternoon) and then it's over. I am NOT a curling fan but ds loves to watch it, I feel the need to at least watch a bit since I work with his wife.

Afternoon Coolers

First I've really sat down this weekend. Busy running errands yesterday (my parents ate me out of house & home:D). Took DS to Sportball and didn't realize it was parent participation this week. Good thing I went in my running shoes, so I got to play at with him and got a bit of a workout in:)

I've decided to repeat week 2 of M2 so did Disc 16 - C/S/T yesterday and today was 30/30 with med ball abs. I can feel I've lost some endurance in my abs as it was a struggle today where before I was finding it fairly easy.

Currently have a friend for DS so some free time to relax now.

Kim - that was a shocker on the news driving to work on Friday - yep, can't complain about our weather here, though I am looking forward to winter being over. We lost all our snow here now and looks be in the +5 to +8 range all week. Are you talking about the curling that's on t.v. this week? I haven't watched any of it but do enjoy watching them play at that level. Wish DS in his game. Glad to hear your Uncle is ok.

Laurie - I think that ab w/o should be done at the beginning! My arms just wobble like crazy at the end. I hear ya in being that time in the cycle. I do worry about my parents - they're in their 80s now and even they talk about not being around 5 years from now. Are you guys starting to think about faire soon?

Morning Coolers,

Saturday was STS Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps. Sunday I took a rest day, and this morning was One on One Plyo Legs.

Kim, Glad the blizzard hit during the middle of the night, they seem to always hit around here durning rush hour. I guess we don't watch all that much sports, because we don't have a boy in the house. We do have to watch track & field when it is on. :D Those are not on to often though.

Patricia, Glad you have had a chance to sit down for a little bit. The ab work in KPC can be tought for that very reason too. After all that punching, and then you have to do pikes on the ball. What is Sportball?

Have a great day!

Evening Cooleers

Just headed to bed now. After dinner it was still so nice and sunny out, went out to play with DS - got hockey, soccer, football and a very short bicycle ride in. He has outgrown his bicycle. Our snow is pretty much gone now.

Tonight was Disc 17 - legs. Playing outside I my abs and triceps were talking to me from yesterday!

Laurie - Sportball is an organization that holds programs to keep kids active. He is enrolled in a class where they teach a different sport each week. This week was basketball but they had you running back and forth and all around the gym and dodging tennis balls too.

Waving hi to Kim.

Morning Coolers,

Disc 16 Chest, Shoulders & Triceps for me this morning.

My youngest dd is home from school today with strepp. She went to the dr. yesterday to have her warts checked out, and I told DH to have them look at her throat also. Well her warts where fine, so she didn't have to get them frozen again, but now she is taking meds for the throat.

Patricia, That sounds like a great time for your ds, and he is getting to try a variety of this. So now you need to go bike shopping, that should be fun. I remember getting my first big bike (or what I thought was a big bike). Hey I was only 5 years old at the time. :D

Have a great day!

Well Ds's team lost their game on Sunday and ds came home in tears as he felt he was responsible. It's hard being a goalie sometimes, it was a tied game and he let in a bad goal right at the end:(:( He was very upset. But the won last night 4-0!!! It's not really a great idea to have 13 yr old boys play each other 5 times in one week, each game has more fighting. They don't have cooling off time. So now they are tied one game each and have a couple of days off.

I didn't get a workout in yesterday with the game, Sunday I got my run in and tonight the plan is for PUB.

Patricia I can't believe you have lost your snow!!! I'm sure we will have snow into May this year (and that's not an exaggeration!) We did have a little melting yesterday and today. There is so much flood planning happening, North Dakota/Manitoba are going to flood big time this year.
Jeff Stoughton won the curling (Brier) this weekend and I work with his wife. Always lots of curling talk around my workplace.

Poor dd, strep is no fun!! Hope she is better soon! Did they put her on antibiotics?

Evening Coolers

Just finsihed watching Survivor. Got home from work early and it was sooo nice out we played hockey with other kids on the street. Did Disc 18 Back/Bis tonight too.

Get to sleep in a bit tomorrow as working at our District office for the day. Looking forward to the drive into work as traffic is light with March break this week.

Kim - tomorrow is suppose to get to 12degrees:p:p DS going to the sugar bush so he sure won't freeze on that trip. Hopefully the floods won't be too bad this year but I know you got a LOT of snowt his year. Must feel like a really long winter for you. Good come back on DS's game. It's never easy being the goalie, but where was the DEFENSE!

Laurie - is DD feeling better now after being on meds for a day or so. Is this your spring break too?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Didn't workout yesterday, was feeling something not quite right in my shoulders. This morning I felt much better, and got in Disc 24 Back & Biceps.

Kim, Yes they put dd on antibiotics, and it really has been a pia getting her to swallow the pills. I tell her not to put so much water in her mouth, so the pill doesn't float around. Of course Mom doesn't know anything. Sorry to hear about your ds feeling responsible, and of course you can tell them that it is a team effort. Guess that still doesn't work though.

Patricia, No we are not on spring break yet, they don't have that until Easter. I didn't have to wear a winter coat to work this morning, it was so nice. Yesterday I walked to the car with my coat in my arms. Love this weather.

Have a great day!
