Canine chiropractic, massage & similar therapies

Anyone have any experience using therapies like chiropractic, massage (any kind), acupuncture, etc on their dogs?

I'm in research mode on this, so any info or experiences you have would be helpful.

TIA. :)

We've used accupressure. There's a point for bloat that has worked on several of the foster dogs, we really swear by it. It doesn't prevent torsion 100% of the time, but gets pretty close.

I have a link to some videos (accupressure and massage). Can I post it here? I also know a couple of people who use accupuncture successfully.

Our vet recommended a chiropractor for our dachshund's neck problems. We haven't tried it yet since medication for several days took care of her pain but she may need it in the future. My DH asked his own chiropractor about it. He said that he has done it on animals of family members and it is helpful. He also said the dogs are good patients which surprised me some. I can't imagine my doxie laying still for this but he says they take it well and have good results.

Our chiro works on dogs!:) Has worked on our danes hips a few times. She is from South Africa and has worked on cheetahs in a wild life preserve too! How cool is THAT?!

Jeanine - Thanks for those video links!

Kate & Lisa - Thanks for that info. I'm going to ask my chiro about it when I go in for my monthly "tune up". He has a dog himself.
