Good Morning!
Saturday I did Low Impact Circuit. Sunday was my rest day. Yesterday I didn't work out either. One of our cats was not doing well over the weekend and we had to seclude him to our bathroom. He appeared to have a UTI and didn't want him peeing all over the carpet. Hard floor is much easier to clean up. Sunday night despite him not feeling well, he still had enough energy to paw at the door all night long making nose and crying because he wanted out. I hardly got any sleep Sunday night. I was so tired Monday morning. I was going to try and do something and then took a look at myself in the mirror and saw how horribly tired I looked and I crawled back into bed. We had to leave him at the vet yesterday. He was blocked up and couldn't urinate normally. They got him all flushed out. We'll see how he's doing this morning. DH is going to call around 9 and see. Both our cats are going on 17 years old so we know its a matter of time. It just kills me though when to see them suffering. I was hoping we'd be one of those fortunate ones where our cats would just go to sleep and never wake up when it's their time to go. They both have kidney disease so that's no helping any.

This morning though I did get up and do disc 1 from Meso 1 chest, shoulders, and bi's. I was surprised I saw some strength gains on some of the exercises since it did STS last. That was a pleasant surprise.

Make it a great day!

Hi Brenda. Hope your cat is feeling better. I have fallen a little behind with STS but i am not stopping. My colleagues had her baby very early and will be out the rest of the year so I have been very busy lately trying to do things for her students too. I have been exhausted everyday.

Today was chest, shoulders and biceps. Dang all those pushups. ..on knees or not...they were alot. I skipped the drop sets at the end.

Kudos on your strength gains. I really need to push myself but I never do the 1RM.

Good Morning!
This morning was Cardio Coach Press Play. I skipped the 5th challenge. Was running out of time and needed time to get a good stretch in. Still was an awesome cardio workout.. was a sweaty mess. Today I have an appt to get a cortisone shot in my hip flexor (psoas) muscle. Still having issues. With my classes coming up I need this to be feeling a lot better than what it does. I just hope it helps.

Our cat got to come home yesterday. He's doing better. He's very weak. We have to keep an eye on him and take it take it day by day. I have to give him antibiotic shots once a day. Now I'm giving both cats shots. At least his is only once a day. We'll see if he bounces back or if this the beginning of the end.

Oh yeah, chest is feeling it today with all those push ups yesterday. I know what you mean. She does a crap load of push ups in Mesocycle 1 of STS. Lets keep it up.. we can do it!!!

Have a great day!

Good Morning!

Today was Meso 1 Disc 2 Back and triceps. Felt good focusing so much on a couple of muscles.

Yesterday I had the shot in my hip. The numbness hadn't kicked in yet and he tried inserting the other needle with the injection and it wouldn't go in and the nurse yelled to him "um she can feel that". She could tell my the look on my face. The got a different needle so that went a little better. Felt weird though after I left because the numbness started going down into my left quad and that leg felt like jello. They said it might take a few days to start working or it may not work at all. I'm hoping it does. As usual, I need to keep an eye on it in case it gets infected. So far all looks good.

Enjoy your day!

Happy Friday!

Back muscles are talking to me from yesterdays workout. Loving it!! My sleep this week has been worse than normal it seems. DH had to get up at 11pm last night to go into work and of course I woke up when he did and didn't sleep the greatest after he left. Didn't have a ton of ambition this morning. I did MMA Boxing but what I did was when she did the leg drills, I got on the elliptical and went pretty fast for 4 minutes. That worked out pretty good.

Still don't feel much difference in my hip flexor muscle since the injection. They did say it may take a few days so I'm trying not to get discouraged.

Have a great weekend!
Brenda
