Morning BB's,

Today will be PUB Triceps/Biceps, Abs, and a 30 min Run. I cut my finger again while doing step. How do you ask? Well my ceiling has this nice light fixture, and I seem to hit that thing periodically. Well in the last week I have hit that dang thing twice. So now I guess I better have a supply of Band-Aids in my workout space. x(

Jill, thanks for confirming my visual of this DVD. I will probably only order the three.

Have a great day everyone!

Oh Laurie, we posted at the same time again! Sorry, I just re-posted here on your thread! --Thea

Good morning BBs,

Still was lazy and slept in today. I am pretty sure I am not catching anything, just needed some extra sleep. I don't know what it is about slacking off from exercise, but I actually eat more and make very poor food choices. Feeling kind of bummed about that this week. Dreading WW weigh in Saturday. I am thinking I will use a no weigh in pass, then again maybe I should face the scale and that will sober me up!

How do you gals like the CTX series? I have them, but haven't done them in ages. I think I may dig them out and try them next week. For those of you who have them, do you feel they are enough of a workout for weight loss, or so you add anything to them? Thanks!

Work was crazy busy yesterday, hopefully today is more quiet. More snow in the forecast here today--it is very pretty but sure makes our commutes home a pain in the you know what!

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning,

I was exhausted by the time I got home last night — I was asleep by 9:30 and slept in this morning, so today is a rest day.

Thea, I really like the CTX series. The cardio is short but surprisingly effective, I think. Tomorrow I'm going to start a rotation with CTX, probably adding on S&H or GS weights most days. I think the workouts are good on their own though; I just like to add on when I have time.

Cheers,

Ellen

Thea - I agree with Ellen on CTX. Also wanted to say that if I have just 30 minutes for cardio, I reach for CTX every time because the warmups are quick and I feel like I get a lot of cardio in those 30 minutes.

Did HSC this morning and my butt is really feeling sore after those leg sculpting moves in KM yesterday. Tomorrow I'm planning a mish-mosh of 10-10-10 cardio, SJP hi/lo, and SB blasts. Don't remember where I got this combo but it looks like a good one.

Our company Christmas party is tomorrow afternoon so I'll only work a half day. Hope I win a good raffle prize but I'm usually not lucky. The best thing I've ever won is a hand mixer - I still use it 18 years later.

Have a great weekend everyone in case I don't get a chance to post tomorrow.

Good afternoon ladies!

Laurie, is your workout just your workout room, or something else? I'm wondering if you could put some foam or something on the light? (Fire resistant of course!) My workout area is in the basement and I have to be careful not to hit the furnace duct lol

Thea, I have CTX but don't do them often, either. I prefer doing a total body weight workout instead of one part per day. So I basically just use the cardio portions. Maybe not long enough on their own for real weight loss. I thought it was supposed to snow this morning. We just got a light dusting in East Troy so far.........

Ellen, I've been sleeping more as well. I think it's a combination of the weather and having a cold. Luckily I didn't get the full-blown awful version that my son had last week (missed the whole week of school!)but enough to make me feel tired.

Sue-10 10 10 would be my favorite cardio on CTX for sure. I love the combination of the different workout types. Plus I can only stand floor aerobics in short bursts. I just grew to hate it after doing it for so many years. I have MIC and have only done it once, and not even all the way through! I'm a wuss lol.

I might get my Firm set today. I ordered the Transfirmer (stupid name I know!) and 3 dvd set in October and it's finally shipped. UPS says it left Oak Creek at 7:30 this morning, so I might just get it today, depending on how many Christmas gifts "my" UPS guy has today. lol. Maybe it will get me re-motivated!

Hi Everyone!

Did Step Heaven (1 & a half segments) and L&G. Man I love L&G. My thighs feel it the whole day!

Laurie: That is definitely a different injury! I know when I had a recroom I always punched the ceiling tiles when I jumped and that white stuff always got in my eyes.

Have a good workout everyone!
