I found a great article explaining how models/celebs DON'T look the same in real life as they do in magazines. It explains what goes behind the photo shoots. It's interesting...hopefully you can copy this link and go to it...

You better believe it, baby. A skilled digital artist can make radical changes to a photo that aren't noticeable to anyone but other people in the business - sometimes not even then. I speak from experience - I removed myself completely from a photo and no one noticed on the final printed piece.

Hi there,

I read an article in a UK magazine, and they can take inches off your rolls of tummy, and 'bye-bye' arms, and eradicate your wrinkles even. Don't believe everything you see in the magazines, and newspapers, it has probably been digitally enhanced !

I forget what I was watching but they did some stuff to Cindy Crawford's pictures. They took a relatively decent shot of her in a midriff baring picture & got rid of natural creases that were caused by the way she was standing. Her hand was on her waiste & they made her forarm smaller. I couldn't believe the stuff they did. We always think they are perfect but they are not!
