Doesan't make sense to me. If men pick these choices when they are in positive moods, why on earth do they qualify as "comfort foods"? Also, when did steak qualify as a comfort food? I thought it was soups and pasta things to keep warm in cold temps? The article is confusing two different definitions of "comfort foods" here I think: those we eat in Winter to feel snugger and warmer and those we eat when we need emotional support. Perhaps the answer is that men don't really eat for emptional reasons. They go take their heartaches and frustrations out on the soccer pitch or basketball court.
