Anyone know of a good deal on Polar HRM's?

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all your excellent info and feedback in the forums I've decided on a Polar F6. I want to purchase from an authorized dealer in order to get the warranty BUT I'd also love to pay less than the $109.95 I'm seeing for it.

Does anyone know of any deals happening anywhere?

Sports Authority has this one Nike Triax C5 Heart Rate Monitor, and I saw a Polar on sale for $49.95.

Oooh, thanks! That's a big difference. I'm going to check with Polar to see if they recognize Walgreens as an "authorized" dealer. That would be terrific!

I got my F4 at Dunhams I think for $60. It was on sale in their circular flyer. I don't know if you have a Dunhams close by or not, but you can always check them out at dunhamssports.com and they post their weekly flyer online. Maybe you can scout out a sale.

Well, I decided to go with the howtobefit.com website. I just liked what the guy had to say about it all. Plus I wanted the pink one!:D

Now it's just the anxious waiting for delivery!

Would anyone experienced with the F6 and fancier versions weigh in on how they like using the uploading features - do you use the Sonic Link or did you go for the infrared device?

I use the Sonic Link with my F6. I like viewing my workouts and having all of the information in one place. I keep up with my mileage too.
