Affordable workout clothing?

Anyone here regularly buy $45 Nike tops? (j/k)

Seriously though, I love the Nike styles, but I can barely afford regular priced Champion! I don't mind paying full price for pants or capris, but it's a pain to thumb through sale racks at department stores or discount stores, and sometimes the prices are still outrageous for tops. But, maybe I just need to stick with that...

I used to buy a lot from Target, but they changed their basic line of sports bras and tops, which I don't find supportive enough. Anyone have any good sites or brands?

Also, I teach and take live classes...regardless, even if I'm at home alone, I love rich colors and solid support. I just don't want to break my bank. Websites, brands of clothing, etc. -- send them my way.

Thanks!

Title Nine catalog. Especially good selection of supportive sports bras.

I don't teach or workout in public much so what I wear isn't important. What I normally wear is a pair of cut-off sweat pants (I like to call them my sweat pant shorts), and two sports bras (I don't like ANY bounce). I definitely spend much more money on good bras than I spend on tops or shorts/pants. When I run/bike outside then I wear a tank too. Oh, actually I've spent a good sum on bike shorts too. Need that padding!

Well, I will pay top dollar for sports bras because I think they're worth the investment. I am also a clearance rack queen, so that helps.

Everything else I pretty much get at TJ Maxx or Target.

Sorry, I know that doesn't help much!

I love Target. Major department stores are good, too. I tend not to do the sporting good stores because the prices always seem jacked up to me. I will pay more for a good sports bra or shoes but I'm not a brand person at all.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do. "WHY?!?!?!" You ask.

Because:
1. I love Nike gear.
2. Working out is very important to me so I have no qualms spending money in that arena.
3. If I wait for a sale or the discounts I can never find my size. They always seem to have plenty of large and extra large but rarely the XS and Small sizes.
4. Did I mention I love Nike gear?!?

I love Target, too. Good tops but where are the good shorts??? I discovered fabulous workout tops at Old Navy. And they were on sale for about $10. I think they are my favorite. I bought the one that crosses over in front and is more like a bra with a wide racer back. Perfect fit and it looks really good. I'm a 34C and it barely fits, so it may not work for a larger chest.

I'd love to hear input on buying good workout shorts with a gusseted crotch...x(

I have on a rare ocassion. If it's something that I absolutely love it's going home with me.

I love Nike stuff, too. I get most of my stuff at Nordstrom OffRack, TJmaxx, Ross, and the Nike outlet.

Most of my tops are $20.00 and under.

I spend it.
I love the comfort and feel.
For shorts though i love ATIVA.
Dicks sproting carries them. They are usually a little cheaper .
Shorts alot 20 bucks and the tops varies 20-40.
I love the nike low rise pants, but not wearing them right now.
I am always buting stuff for my daughter and grandson. This stuff is my splurge on me.
Oh, and i am a shoe addict....
Still looking for the perfect shoe for me.
I did luck out last summer and got some Nike sports bras on sale for 10 bucks.
I bought dupes beacause i had previously bought the same ones for 40.
I grabbed them up.

I don't like to spend alot and I used to spend next to nothing when I worked out only at home because I didn't care what I looked like...

Now that I am going to the gym on a regular basis and running outdoors I have allowed myself to spend a bit more but I still do not buy expensive by ANY means!

I generally will not spend more than $15.00 on ANY one item (pant, short, sports bra, other top) for my work outs with the exception of my sneakers.

I have shopped at Target, TJ Maxx and Kohls for my clothing. My best deal was one that I hit at Kohl's just recently where a line of clothing was marked down to half price or less!!! I was sooo excited! LOL :7

I say to keep shopping the sale rack and the discount stores...

Patience is a virtue if you want a bargain!;)

I always go to Marshall's or ebay for the pricey brands. When you wear the stuff, ain't nobody gonna know where you brought it!
