40s - April showers?

Hey all, I skipped w/o on Saturday, I was just completely spent. sunday I did STS Meso 2 ch/tri/sh - week 3 -- whatever disc that is. I did this after another sleepless night, this time worrying over kids. First they keep you awake when they are young, then even once they are grown you stay awake worrying over them.
 
omg, kids, soooo much more work in their older years. I hope everything works out (no I'm not going into specifics, it tires me).

I've hit the wine.
 
Oh Lisa, I hope all is well. The worries certainly get bigger as they grow up. Sat. I did disc 19, I thought it would never end! Those double wave loads were endless. The kids gave me some sort of disease! Have not decided if I am going to work out today or not. It is 62 right now and we are supposed to get snow tonite? Hello to everyone else that follows! Mary

Lisa - hope everything gets sorted out with the kids. It never stops, does it? And there were you thinking you were going to have a quiet weekend without them!

Mary - did you stamp up and down on the rower when you finished last week? Or set fire to it?! :D

I never made it back last week - just too much work. It's relentless. Had a lovely day yesterday though. It was Mother's Day here. I got breakfast in bed, presents, lunch out and no chores all day! Bliss!

Hi everyone, I did STS Meso 2 legs - disc 20 I think. Even on limited sleep from worrying I did it. I'm dog tired now though, I'd love to put my head on my desk and go to sleep.

Part of the kid issue got resolved. This would be so much easier if my kid didn't have a fiancee and stupid future in-laws. And it's all revolving around money! They have NONE, ziltch, zip, and their bad habits have translated to their daughter and my son is getting sucked into it. DS gives in to her too much and I don't want the in-laws influence and yet they want to live together over at her parents house since it's obvious they can't pay for an apartment yet. OY, I've offered up my place (it's a lot nicer too). Fed up with these kids.

Sorry I have no energy for personals, but we did have a little snow yesterday, I liked it :) It's soooo dry here the grass is crunching under your feet and we've already had a couple of fires.

Lisa - glad to hear that at least part of it is sorted out.

Today I did just the step part of Intensity. It seemed tougher than ever. Work is inescapable. I thought I'd got it sorted out but just started on a job that is going to take me much longer than I thought. And I've got a load of other stuff to do, all at the same time!
 
HI all. Saturday I did Michael Olajidae, CTBS (jump rope), and Sunday was Travel Fit. Monday and Tuesday were unplanned rest days - DD is sick and so am I. I reall want to go home and rest. Anyone else have credit card in hand to pre-order the new workouts? I am glad to hear that they will be knee-friendly. They will still be "Cathe workouts" but at least my knees won't curse her!
 
Was awake last night from 1:30 to 4am, got back to sleep so slept in, no w/o for me. I'm pampering myself after the last couple of days :)

What do you guys think of Cathe's new series? It's perfect as sometimes (like lately) I need a low impact w/o when my knee is bothering me. Is she going to have a presale?

Ronne, did you have a good Mother's Day? Intensity is one of those near dread workouts for me, along with CCC. Still not as bad as some of the other dread workouts. Work is always never ending, sigh, I had pager duty last week and over my horrible weekend and got called Fri night waking me up for a NON PROBLEM, and Sat during my kid fiasco, OY

Mary, I've almost stopped meso2 with all my stressors, but I've hung in there, I'm thinking of not going on with Meso3 (my least favorite).

Hey Murphy, we were posting at the same time, hope you feel better. So there IS a presale? How did I miss that? I'm outta control :) I'm right there with you on the knee issue (another reason I've been taking more rest days)
 
Hi girls! Today will be disc 20. Lisa, I don't think I will be doing meso 3 at all, we are going to Disney in May and I will only be able to get 2 weeks in before we leave. I don't enjoy that one as much. The pre sale starts may 1st and did you see she is going to have a spinning video? I will like the lower impact as all that jumping really aggravates my hips. Murphy, we have illness here too! Must be the season. I just wish the kids wouldn't share so much. DH and I were the last ones to get it! Ronne, sorry about all the work. Yes Ronne, sometimes rest (not necessarily sleep) works wonders! My body (and especially knee) is feeling better.

Today was MMA KB, nice and easy. Nothing more to say, cuz I think you all are tired of hearing me say I'm not sleeping well. :) I wonder if it's low estrogen (my Dr has told me that is what it could be when I'd have non sleeping episodes the week before my cycle). Now I don't have a cycle and I just feel like there's always something....either overtired, hot flashes, not sleeping, blah.....this is fun, huh? Maybe I should drink soy milk again?

Just realised I didn't post yesterday. Thought I had! Ahh, my brain. Did CTX Kickbox yesterday. Planning to do KCM Lift today. DD finishes school for 2 weeks this afternoon, so work, workouts and posts are going to get even more erratic!!!

Okay, two things. 1. I am feeling better and then my cycle comes early and now it is raining so no walking and no fresh air. 2. Where is all this new information on the new dvd's? I miss a few days and Cathe spills all the beans. I am going crazy, somebody please tell me where to look.
