I have to buy it now! Been mulling it over for a while, and since you can't beat the price, I'll head over to BB&B and get me one!

    Lowmax revisited

Been dusting off my Cathe low impact dvds in the past few weeks after getting the low impact series, and have done Low Impact Circuits & Lowmax for the first time in ages. I don't know that I'd ever done Lowmax in it's entirety but it left me sweating plenty yesterday! I did it with 2 risers...

    Suggestions for slide and glides

Big bang for the buck I've been using gliding discs for years, and IMO, they are one of the best workout tools out there - right up there with stability balls, chin-up bars and pushup handles. VERY much worth the money!

    What is Your Go-To Workout?

I go for step Right now I alternate Body Max 2 (the step portions), Low Impact Circuits, Athletic Step & Intensity. I'd love to learn Low Impact Challenge but don't have time right now- got to slo-mo the "frustrating" parts. Maybe over Xmas break. I need to revisit Low Max, too. Cardio...

What was your first Cathe workout video?

Wow! Gotta think back! Must have been 1997 or so - first was Gin Miller's Intense Moves, for a starter video, no less! Then I got Mega Step Blast and progressed from there.

fad diets & weight loss gimmicks: do you jump on the bandwagon?

Right On!!! "Going ON a diet, means you'll eventually being going "OFF" a diet, so why not just find a way to eat what's healthy for your body." I like that!!!!! I think that's precisely why people who diet shop do what they do - they lose weight & get back to their old habits...

Which Workout is Your Success Indicator??

Remember MIC? This was the mother of all "test your endurance" workouts! 1/2 hour of step and 1/2 hour of hilo!!!! Also, the Step, Pump & Jump/Step Blast cardio marathon!!!!! MIC is Maximum Intensity Cardio for all you Cathe newbies.

Low Impact Challenge vs. Athletic Step

Love Athletc Step! AS is easy to learn - haven't done LIC yet, but upon previewing it, it appears to be more complicated than AS. Some one who has done both should speak to this.

    Joe Paterno

Shameful mess After following this sick story for awhile, I've concluded that the football legacy of Penn State & Paterno trumped the welfare of the kids who were the victims of that sicko, Sandusky. They should take that Paterno statue down at the school. As for Sandusky, may he spend his...

    Slide n' Glide cardio

Don't let the short length fool you! I did this one yesterday, and I was sweating big time when I was done! This is a good workout for when you are short on time. Did not have time for the seated & floor slide, but I can't wait to try it!

DH said he doesn't want man arms on me grrrr

And you could say..... "I don't want a beer belly on you!" Seriously, he's probably afraid your arms will look better than his. What kind of shape is HE in? I'll bet I can guess! What a jerk!

Doritos: the cause of North America's obesity epidemic?

Much more than Doritos... IMHO, it's all about being aware of what you're eating and making smart, educated choices. There's so much info out the online & in books, so it can be easy to get a handle on your weight. A quick "for instance" - Friday I went to Wendy's with coupon in hand for...
