    Rhythmic Step clone?

Step Blast is the closest thing, I think, to RS. PowerMax is another really fun steady state cardio workout. Pinky

    What's the fave HRM now?

I have the Polar F11 and love it. It might be too technical for you though. It has lots of features, about half of which I don't use. The only things I like about it are that it gives me percentage of calories burned from fat, and that it gives me a good estimate of how long/intense I have to...

    Low Max, gotta love it!

I love LM, too. It's a great way to work the legs without weights, especially if you do just the blast premix. It's a nice variation from the usual weighted standing leg work. I wish Cathe would do a workout with kickbox moves on the step. :) Pinky

Which one do you like the best and why?

I have P90X and use only the Yoga and Stretch workouts. Everything I do is either Cathe's or my own homemade routines BASED ON Cathe's workouts. I'm sure P90X is a good program. I simply can't be motivated by Tony Horton. I've tried. Doesn't work. And I'm getting great results from Cathe. Why...

Lomax, do you consider it a leg workout?

Forgot to answer the original question... Jenn, I consider LowMax to be a leg workout. Lately I've been doing only the blast premix and add on another segment from another workout, like LM blast premix + GSL floor work, or CTX-power circuits (warm-up and circuits only) + LM blasts. I like...

Lomax, do you consider it a leg workout?

Christine, if you want it tough, take out the cardio. Do just the blasts followed by the leg work. Cuts the workout time, too. If you want it even harder, go heavier on the weights. As always, how heavy depends on how much your body can take. Pinky :)

what will you or your children be for Halloween??

My son wants to be Spiderman for the third consecutive year. But there's a few weeks 'til Halloween. He might still change his mind. I waver between being a witch and a psychopath. Maybe I'll be a psychopathic witch. ;-) Pinky

    When is it enough?

Hi Kristi, congratulations on your 59-lb. weight loss! It's great how you're asking yourself all these questions. You know your body very well and I admire how you're trying to figure out when it's enough. It's so easy to get trapped into a certain way of seeing and thinking -- "I have to be X...

When the kitchen garbage is full, does your family....

Well, we usually: 1. cram the stuff down to make more room for more crap 2. ignore it until Mom takes it away 3. Mom plays tug-of-war with the overinflated trash bag, which is now stuck in the bin, then takes it away, mumbling, Why do I have to do all the dirty stuff around here? I...

Which one are you going to do first?

I don't know. It's a toss-up between B&G and LIC. Depends on what I'm trying to accomplish when the new workouts arrive. Good question. :) Pinky

    Question re: ergonomic chairs

Thanks for all your comments. It's a toss-up between one of those and an ergonomic medical stool. I'll think about it... Pinky :)

Who has purchased the new workouts?

I've been preordering Cathe's workouts since the BB series. (I found her only after she released her Intensity series.) Never regretted a thing. Every penny I put in a Cathe workout has been money well spent. Pinky

    Three Things - Sept. 28/06

I watched my son training at baseball academy last night. He worked hard and his form was excellent. A far, far, far cry from where he was two years ago, when he couldn't get his body together. I got rid of stuff collecting dust in the closets. Feels good to have much needed space back. I...
