    Patrick Goudeau and Rob Glick

I love Rob's Amazing Step Styles. It's not Cathe intense, but it has an enormous fun factor to it. It always puts me in a good mood when I do it! Plus, I think he's hot!:7

    Happy or upset?

Diane Sue, I'm a little late for the party but I just noticed your picture trail and I must say, I'm in awe! You look gorgeous! Besides Cathe workouts do you do anything else to maintain that awesome physique? If there's a link to your training/diet regime please post it, as I didn't see...

    My new sneakers... so disappointing!

I love my Ryka N Gage too. At first they took a little getting used to because they fit higher--a little past the ankle--than my other Rykas, but once I broke them in they were very comfortable. I hope Ryka continues this line because this is the first sneaker that hasn't given me problems.

    Favourite 'beverage'?

I didn't realize so many on this board like to imbibe now and then! I'm a wine-oh too. Anything dry. A red Cabernet is my favorite and, if I can find it, a good dry white wine. Unfortuantely, most dry whites lack body. I don't like cocktails because I don't like sweet drinks. I love beer...

    Another Jari Love ?

If you're a little overweight and aren't used to exercising, I believe it is possible to burn that many. Again, that's the extreme. If you do Cathe all the time you won't burn that many calories. I have this workout and love it. I don't have a HRM but I do sweat buckets, and I'm thorougly...

    does anyone else feel guilty..

Some weeks I take a rest day and some I don't. My body usually tells me in subtle ways when I need a day off. I just looked at my workout journal and notice I didn't take any days off in Feb. This month I've slowed down a little and only worked out 5 of 7 days. Today I have a terrible cold...

    Cathe's hardest static lunge sequence?

I also think Power Hour's lunge sequence is the toughest. That's why I avoid that workout like the plague!

What do people who don't exercise do

On my days off I clean the house and do laundry. Things I don't feel like doing after a workout because if it's an intense workout, I usually don't have the energy. I agree with the above poster who mentioned that not everyone who doesn't exercise has plenty of free time. My DH is one person...

    Desperate Housewives

Because I can never discipline myself to watch a TV program when it's actually on I DVR all the DH episodes. In fact, I'm still catching up on last years drama. I haven't even begun to watch this years yet. I just make sure I don't read any spoilers!

CARS & IMAGE - - lets have some feedback :)

Sure they have Toyota and Honda plants in America. But, the CEO's, engineers and car designers live in Japan. The profits go to Japan. To each is own. My GM cars have been very reliable. We live in a free society, buy whatever you love. I just get tired of hearing friends complain about...

Is this your hair salon experience too?

This question makes me laugh because I feel the same way. Flourescent lighting at the salon makes me look 10 years older, thanks to the yellowish cast it emits. As far as the style job, for a while I saved lots of money by going in just for a cut. She charged less for a cut than for a wash...

Call 911, Just did Interval Max for the first time

Have you done IMAX 2 yet? It's a party in a box and not as tough as Interval Max. If I were you I'd keep the step at 6 inches. I never go higher than that because it kills my knees. IMAX 3 is her toughest. I've only done it once, but was very glad my DH new CPR!

CARS & IMAGE - - lets have some feedback :)

My DH likes to buy American, and we've never had any issues with our American cars, except for the Fords! We had one and will never buy another one again. Most Japanese cars are well made with good safety and reliability records. An interesting find we noticed when shopping for a car for my...

What have Cathe's workouts done for you?

It's hard to say what her workouts have done for me. I've been doing them for years, but have always been physically fit, so I didn't start her workouts with goals in mind. That said, I can tell you that I think Cathe's workouts have kept me fit and lean all these years. I'm 43 and haven't...

    What is your favorite movie?

I have three and can't decide which is my favorite. 1. Chariots of Fire--it inspired me to start running when I was in college. 2. Reds 3. Cabaret Funny how Jaws made the list. I love it too and finally got the anniversary DVD last year. Can't believe it's been 30 years since it's...

    The new fashion trends...

I never did get rid of some of my leggings and empire waist tunics from the 90's, so if they're back in style I won't have to shop for a new wardrobe! However, my tastes have changed from being very style conscious to preferring the outdoor casual look. I love baggy cargo pants, loose tops...

    Butts and Gutts advice?

My legs are muscular, but since I'm more bottom heavy I find heavy weights make my butt and thighs bulk up. I don't like that look. Once my size 6 pants start getting tight, I know it's time to lighten up on the weights, or switch to barre work for a while.

    Instructor's Physiques???

Some instructors go to extremes to get back in shape for videos, so I really don't use them as my chief source of inspiration should I decide I want to buy one of their workots. Cathe is very inspirational, but she, for the most part, maintains that physique. And she is honest about her...

    Working out alone

It depends on what workout I do. If it's kickboxing, Turbo Jam, or hi-lo I prefer to be alone because I feel rather silly flailing my arms and legs around. However, for stepping or weights I don't mind having an audience. My DD's are young and have been watching me workout to that "Cathe...

    Workouts in their entirety

The first time I do any workout I always do it in its entirety. After that, it's a free for all. Due to my short attention span I prefer breaking them up and mixing and matching. This morning, for instance, I combined Pure Strength, Gym Styles, Drill Max and some CTX to make a total body...
