I have a humble request for a May rotation, if you were in fact planning to post one: I would love to see what a one-body part per day rotation using your tapes would look like. Something like what you yourself might do in a week: lots of additional cardio, maybe a circuit or total body thrown...
I would defintiely buy a reformatted DVD. I have actually made a VHS tape of the Cmax hi-lo/kickbox sections (just those without the step) to create my own half hour workout, from my existing DVD. would love to see this chaptered in as a premix, as well as a step-only premix, weights only...
with the step setup I have (club step and 4 risers, and/or a wooden step DH made at 12") I can do either 12" or 16", but not 14. I tried ME again on 16", used just the 10 pound plate and it was a bit easier the second time, I think I was just so shocked the first time it felt harder than it...
Is it really 16" in Muscle Endurance? I keep counting the risers and hoping I'll come up with 14 but...I suspect it really is (gulp) 16...can anyone confirm?
(I did the leg presses on 16 the first time and it nearly killed me!)

Hi,
I just got my intensity DVD's and am getting ready to do the total body blast rotation. I notice that cathe has Cardio and weights back to back with PLB...this makes sense to me because C&W is definitely an upper body emphasis. But what about doing PUB (on day 7) back to back with...
I heard!!! I emailed them to give them a new CC number, and they told me my order had already shipped, and I might even get it today!!!
There's hope for us lonely canucks after all!!

Hi SNM,
IF the Intensity DVD's start shipping on jan. 24, can I safely assume that CKSales will be among the first to receive their DVD's? Please tell me yes!!!

I would say I started lurking around here in fall 2001, then I got the PS series. I didn't really start to collect and use the rest of the Cathe's until this time 1 year ago, Feb or so 2002, and I started posting a little more at that time.

Hi Lori,
I don't know if the presale is still on but the new Mindy DVD's were only $15 US each, even for a Canadian (like me!) that was a great deal, and I preordered. Also, on Mindy's site, many of her tapes are only $10 or $12 US, still cheap even with the exchnage and shipping. I really...
I eat salomon, tuna, and/or sardines every day. I haven't found any issue with the fats, if anything my skin and hair is looking better. I am concerned about the mercury though...

I don't have my pyramids yet. so I can't compare, but I think slow and heavy is a must. It is structured as a 3 day split so it can be hard to make a rotation around it, but what I have done is make a 2 day split out of it by doing only 2 sets instead of three of each exercise (made 2 tapes...
Lori, I am cracking up at the lump removal remark!
I occasionally use the cardio machines at the Y while my kids are doing their taekwondo class. Last Saturday, I had to wait for a treadmill, so I asked a young fella that works there to help me try out the assisted pull up machine. He showed...
I almost always have doms somewhere. I think I might actually feel strange if I didn't. Right now I have wicked doms in my lats and chest from powerhour-yay!

Hi Jenn and Patricia and other Toronto Cathe fans!

The most I seem to be able to get over my head at this point is 50 lb, and I can do slow and heavy legs with this much, not sure about MIS (WAY more reps!). Does anyone here use a weighted vest, and if so, can you reccomend a brand? I would like to get one, then I could keep the barbell at...
Agree with what others have said: my own method is similar, when I hit a bit of a "plateau" with a weight load, I revisit my form. I usually find that I can improve it and it makes the exercise harder all over again; this is particularly true for me with shoulders and lat rows for some reason...
