    Is there any reason......

    Not to do a kickboxing DVD such as KM or KPC and then do an upper body workout such as MM (upper body premix) or PUB in the same day? I am trying to work up a rotation using the dvd's I have and didn't know if that was a good idea or not. thanks for any help from you experienced exercisers...

    Anyone using dumbells instead of barbell for weight w/o's?

    I have only done the pyramid lower body once and I used the barbell cause I wanted to go as heavy as I could at least once in awhile. But when I do the MM if that is my second or third workout in the week I use 10 lb dumbells for the lower body instead of the bar and it works fine. I'm trying...

    Howabout none! I understand if you're like me that's between difficult and impossible. What about swimming or pilates on the mat or possibly walking and upper body weights? Let your knee rest, it will appreciate it. Paula

    OK Shelley, I'm going to have to trust you on this one. Sports authority has a high step for right around 50 dollars. I am just hoping it's not too intense for me. I am excited though cause this means it's something I haven't been doing that I need to do! Paula

    I didn't have the high step. I used my club step on the highest I have, 2 risers each side. My heart was RACING when I finished the squats and lunges. I am in pretty good shape, do lomax and HIIT cardio on a regular basis. Has anyone else experienced this? I am hesitant now to try this on...

    Shonie: THanks for the warning. When I started lifting weights a few years ago, my thighs started to get big and I freaked. I never went over 5 lbs with my legs after that. I wear a size 5 and I like staying at that size. But I won't get upset this time if my pants get tight for awhile...
