Can't really help out with your question as I don't have many of the weights videos, however from one Josie to another - a very warm welcome to you! Josie

    Cathe, did you see this?

RE: Oh wow... What an unexpected surprise to see my name mentioned in this thread! I thought people would like to see how this site looked a few years back which is why I posted the link - I hope that Cathe has seen it too! And if Cathe reads this, I just want to say thank you so much for...

Thank you Debbie and everyone else :-)

    Pikes on the stability ball

Pukes?...I like that! Quite appropriate! My ball is definitely inflated properly - nice and firm (probably why it seems so large!) So I guess that I have to get my upper body into such a position that it seems like I's going a handstand but to get there, just think about lifting my...

    Pikes on the stability ball

That's a great idea Vic! I would love to be able to sit on my stability ball whilst at work, however as I'm an attorney, I might get a few strange looks from my clients! :7

Costly Matters - BODY FOR LIFE - EAS/METRX

For what it's worth, a serving of slimfast shake has less carbs and calories in it than the mypolex shake, although admittedly slimfast also has less protein too. Over here in the UK (and I am looking at this from a UK perspective as icklemoley is based in the UK), slimfast shakes work out to...

Costly Matters - BODY FOR LIFE - EAS/METRX

Have you thought about substituting in the shakes/meal bars from the slimfast range? When I read body for life, I looked into the recommended shakes and bars and realised that they cost too much (I am UK based too), so I thought the slimfast ones would suffice. As it is, I never ended up...

    Pikes on the stability ball

I think it'll be a while then before I can do them....I can't even manage one right now even though I have good core strength from doing pilates regularly. When I watch Cathe and her crew doing them, they just look so simple that I feel that I should be able to do them too! It's good to have a...

    Pikes on the stability ball

I've been doing the Timesaver dvd this week, still loving it and feeling great every time I master one of those trickier step moves!....BUT I just can't do those darned pikes on the stability ball! I swear my ball is just too big for me! Ha ha! Actually no, it is a 65cm reebok one and I am 5...

    Low Carb Diets

I personally don't think low carb is good - I tried Atkins for several weeks - I had no energy at all, was miserable, had bad stomach problems and lost very little weight - when I went back to normal eating, I put all the weight back and some more! Things like bread are such a staple food, I...

    You're very welcome! :-)

    Cool link!

It works with my personal website too - the only thing it couldn't show were the fancy javascript rollover menus that I had on the site. What I like is when you look up the site for a company (such as Sony) that has a really slick site now, then look at what they had a few years ago! :-)

Just did the Gauntlet today for the first time!

Thanks Carole, it's rare that I get ill like this and I want to shake it off quickly - I called in sick today at work and am just resting at home with my 2 cats...want to shake this thing off so that I can start working out again - how sad is that?!

    Cool link!

Just some across such a cool link - http://www.archive.org If you type http://www.cathe.com into the Wayback machine, you can see what Cathe's site looked like back in 1998! The Wayback machine will work with loads of other sites as well. Have fun! Josie

Just did the Gauntlet today for the first time!

Hi everyone, All I can say is just make sure you have a good supply of water handy if you are going to attempt the Gauntlet! I'm going to do Timesaver for most of this week (nothing today though, have a flu type bug :-( so I want to rest properly) and then I will do the Viper next Saturday...

Just did the Gauntlet today for the first time!

Thanks for that Jillybean - glad to know that I've already done the toughest one - don't think I could cope with much tougher than that right now!

Just did the Gauntlet today for the first time!

Thanks for that - can i just ask one though? How do the Terminator workouts compare to each individual intensity series workout? Just wondering. Thanks Josie

Just did the Gauntlet today for the first time!

Well, I said I'd report back on my first outing with the Terminator dvd....did the Gauntlet...oh my oh my, that was tough! I pretty much kept up with most of it, although I had to press pause on the dvd player a few times so that I could catch my breath and get some water. Also towards the...
