    reebok step

I used to use the reebok step but sometimes found that it was just a bit too small for me - for example I found it a little awkward when running on top of or jumping onto the step. I feel "safer" running on top of the full size step! I also feel that since getting the full size step I am...

Workouts are working GREAT but I'm tired all the time- ...

RE: Workouts are working GREAT but I'm tired all the ti... I have found that when I'm tired from working out like that, it's usually a good idea to take a 1 or 2 week break from working out altogether - still go for a brisk walk every day and so on, but not anything strenuous. Your body needs...

WARNING! Ebay spoof email on the loose!

I had a similar one today but it was allegedly from Paypal saying that they have updated their servers and I needed to re-enter some details - when you hover over the link to click on however in the email, the website address is certainly not Paypal's! Josie

    My Health update ...

Wayne, I don't know anything about these things, but have the Docs ruled out bladder stones? I know that is a rare thing, but just a thought if there's no infection. Perhaps a proper scan (not just x-ray)could rule that out? Josie

    My Health update ...

Wayne, If anxiety is your problem, then have you tried hypnotherapy as a sort of relaxant? My DH has recently started hypnotherapy to help him out with a phobia and he finds it very relaxing....just a thought! Josie

    My Health update ...

Wayne, It does sound as though you have some sort of infection....most NHS hospitals usually have some sort of drop-in GU (Genito-Urinary) clinic, so if I were you, I would enquire. Up here in sunny North Wales (!) we have this sort of service at one of our local hospitals, so I would have...

Legs and Glutes or Lotte Berk method?

Hi Dani, As I understand it (and there are probably others who can explain this better) having a pear shape is when your hips and lower body accumulate more fat than your upper body - a lot of pears tend to have slim upper bodies and waists and tend to deposit the fat around the lower areas...

    How many of us here?

Yes, I'd like to know this too....is there some way of conducting a poll on these forums to find out how many people have won? I'm sure I saw a poll on here before! Josie edited to say: p.s. on http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php it says there are 6736 registered members! Sorry, I misread...

Legs and Glutes or Lotte Berk method?

For those of you who have both workouts, which one do you consider is most effective at shaping and firming buns and thighs? I used to do the LB stuff (and Winsor buns and thighs), but I simply find Legs and Glutes to be more interesting and challenging. Any views on this would be appreciated...

Just completed Imax2 for the first time......

You could always try doing a high knee walk (they do that one on the Lotte Berk dvds) - I think it's quite hard and at least it would keep the heart rate up!

Just completed Imax2 for the first time......

I can imagine using the polar heart rate monitor will prove interesting next time I'm doing those intervals! Can't wait to test it out tomorrow, however I think I'll try something a little less intense. BTW, I found out that you can get a great Triumph sports bra and it has a special insert...

Just completed Imax2 for the first time......

Thanks Pinky! I'm still on such a major high from completing the entire thing! I even went out today and bought a polar heart rate monitor - mainly out of curiousity to see what my heart rate is doing the next time I attempt it! Yes, interval 9 is positively evil....}(

Just completed Imax2 for the first time......

Thanks for that Carole - I feel as though I've really achieved something! Just had to crow about it here cos DH and my friends would never understand what I was talking about! I have to say, that has to be probably one of my best and most effective workouts in many years - I can't remember...
