What's the difference btwn a Nutritionist and an RD??

RD requires more education and training. I have a 4 year degree in Nutrition and can call myself a nutritionist. I did not go on to get my RD tho. Here is a good link: http://www.allalliedhealthschools.com/faqs/dietitian.php Colleen

What workout was that on FitTV this morning?

It's one of my favorites. The FitTv version is missing a few of the intervals or parts of them, but I think it's still a good workout. Colleen

    Workout Mishaps :o

Ouch! Years ago when I was new to gyms I was using the cable machine that you could hook a weight up to the top and the bottom. The lat pull down bar was on the top and I hooked up the ankle weight at the bottom to work inner thigh. Pulled the pin out without taking the lat bar down and WHAM it...

    late eating

I think your body needs fuel at night especially if you aren't eating for a good 6-8 hours after you go to bed. I follow BFL and eat right before bed and it hasn't stalled any progress. Colleen

Puppies and log lovers My pug puppy got spayed

What do you mean by outcome? Kiana was spayed at 5 and she had a hard recovery. She didn't want to get out of her crate for about a week or so. Kept her isolated and on crate rest. Bear (yes female <G>) was spayed by 1 and had an easier recovery. Needed a cone not to chew on stitches...

    pugs owners HELP!!!!

You can add veggies for bulk: green beans and carrots are two excellent veggies to add. I have a friend with a border terrier who literally has to count kibble for his meals. If you are putting a dog on a reduction in kibble, especially a small dog (note I wouldn't do this with a pup...

How many hours a day do you workout?

I think it depends on how you workout. A few years ago, I worked out 90 minutes to 2 hours a day. Then I switched to BFL and do 20-30 minutes interval cardio 3 times a week and 30-45 minutes weights 3 times a week and am getting great results. Colleen

    Shoe preferences

Go to a running store like Fleet Feet and get fitted. Asics work best for me. I have high arches, PF and wide feet so they may or may not work for you. Colleen
