    Music for new videos

I hope Cathe gets as far as reading my post on this thread, because of all Cathe's workouts, I like the music in the most recent ones the best! It doesn't matter which workout I'm doing out of this bunch, I just love it. Yes, "Ride Like The Wind" is repetitive, and I'm not a big fan of "Girls...

    Need advice

Oh my goodness! I had the same problem...until recently. I found out that I am insulin resistant, which is a more common problem than you may realize. I'm not a doctor, so I can't explain what goes on in the body, but basically, my body can't process sugars very well. In the past, no matter...

    Breaking up.........

Gayle, just be honest and tell your kids the truth. It will show them you respect them. Besides, kids can figure this stuff out, and they probably already know something's not right, anyway.

    Hip Bursitis

I've had a bout of hip bursitis twice, but recovered 100% through a LOT of rest. I got mine from walking. Interestingly enough, I took up stepping (without the step) because it didn't aggravate my hip as much as walking did.

Pretty new to Cathe but not to working out. Interested in the High Step??

I don't have a high step, but I don't think you could go wrong with either package. Start building your Cathe library and you will be able to build a structured program of weights and cardio using her DVDs.

    Power walking...

I consider walking a supplement to my aerobic workouts. What I've been doing lately is getting up and walking for 20-30 minutes in the morning, then I do a step or weight routine after work. I end up getting an hour or more a day of exercise. I used to power walk religiously, but stopped...

    Coconut oil

I've done a little research on coconut oil and eventually will transition it into my diet because of the nutritional benefits. I found a great website for it: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/ This will be where I get my coconut oil when I'm ready to buy in the future. I liked that they...

    Swollen Gland - Embarrassing Location

Okay, so this is a little embarrassing to discuss. I have a swollen gland (actually, the doctor called it a "Bartholin's Gland Cyst") in the female nether region, if you know what I mean. First of all, I think I know how I got it (my hubby and I took advantage of a coupon and bought some of...

To the males on this forum........

I don't think he does Cathe workouts. He said they are too intense for him and that he's here for support and entertainment.

    Paris Hilton vs. Martha Stewart

The difference between Paris Hilton and Martha Stewart when it comes to serving a jail term: Martha may not be an angel, but at least she has enough class to do the right thing and serve her time. I'm sure she could have easily pulled a similar stunt as Paris did, but she didn't. Paris is...

    EMBARASSING HEALTH QUESTION

No gas, but I get the upset stomach on day one or two, too. It's just enough to make me feel a litte queasy, but never sick. I do notice that after my period starts I have some intestinal discomfort, especially toward the end.

Just turned 34, maintenance not working anymore, suggestions?

RE: Just turned 34, maintenance not working anymore, su... I am 37 and noticed around my early 30s that I couldn't keep weight off, anymore, no matter that I was exercising about an hour a day. Recently, I found out that I am insulin resistant, as are many women. I had gone to my doctor a...

    Hypochondriacs please stand up......

I freak out about raw meat. Salmonella and ecoli and all that nasty bacteria. I end up washing and washing and washing my hands while I'm preparing red meat, disinfecting the counters at least once, maybe even twice. I also have this abnormal fear of vomiting. Perhaps it's because I've...

$900 for a cat - would you do it?

All my cats have been rescues in one way or another. So was my dog. However, I wouldn't blink to pay $900 for a Bengal or Savannah because I've heard for years how wonderful both breeds are. I will adopt, purchase, and take in strays. I'm not picky. Besides, the "free" cat that found me (I...

    laser hair removal?

I have it done and get temporary results, but the hair does grow back. I've had hair removal treatments for years, though, and this is the most effective, convenient, and comfortable treatment I've ever had. A word on burns: People who get burned by the treatment usually aren't following...

Do Some Peop;e REALLY Eat This Way

I think the educational system that teaches people about "bad" food and "good" food is in serious need of help. Here's why: 1) Just last night, I saw a commercial that touted Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles as a "healthy and nutritious snack" for children. My jaw dropped! How can someone claim...

Do Some Peop;e REALLY Eat This Way

"I can't believe people eat this way daily. Imagine how awful you would feel if your diet consisted of these foods regularly." I DO feel awful when I eat like this! I mean, I can really tell when I've eaten something yucky! I've gotten so used to eating low-sugar, low-trans-fat, that when I...
