    What a night!

I checked online too. Looks like the ones we have down here are not poisonous. Some people might have allergic reactions to them. Thanks Liann, I'm fine now :) My finger was numb for a bit yesterday, but all better now.

    What a night!

Thought I'd share my "little adventure" from Saturday night. I'm sleeping comfortably and at 230am my DH jumps out of bed turns on the lights, takes the covers off the bed and I'm like "What is going on?". He says "I heard something fall from the ceiling fan on to the bed." So he's all looking...

    moving and magazines

Hi Jane, I usually go to the magazine's website. There should be a customer service link. From there you should be able to choose to change your address. You'll probably need your address label from one of the magazine to enter your subsrciption number or something like that. Sabine

    *I'm* the oldies now? Heehee!

    >You have to listen to college radio, independent radio, >satellite radio, and go to shows wherever you can where there >is a thriving scene of great music by real live musicians. > Totally agree. College radio rules! Lots of good bands as well as what was undergound back in the '80s plus...

    Cuisinart Griddler

I got one for xmas a few years ago. It's great for making paninis or cooking chicken breasts/salmon in like 4 minutes. You can change out the "plates" (not sure what you call them) to make it into a griddle. We use that for pancakes. The only pain I think about it is the cleaning. Also the non...

Announcing STS - Cathe's Next Filming Project!

I think if you're going to be offering the Workout Blender software in the future, I don't see a need for it on the DVDs. It would reduce your costs. We can create our own workouts from all the past/current/future workouts, instead of being confined to 1 or 2 DVDs.

I'm getting a cell phone jammer!

I know in some countries all of the above is actually illegal to do while driving. A friend of a relative of mine in France got a ticket for drinking out of a water bottle (yes it was water ;-) ) while driving. Since it was his third ticket and they do points over there , he lost his driver's...

I'm getting a cell phone jammer!

I just loooooveeeeeeeeeee people on their cell phones while driving in the left lane going 40mph in a 65 mph zone. Or the one time some girl decided to start dialing or texting, while passing us, then moving over back to the right hand lane and slamming into the pickup truck in front of her at...

Is there a certain word you can't pronounce?

Tracey M.. that's hilarious, I love it :-) I have the hardest time with February and Rolls Royce. I guess I still have some pronounciation issues. I learned English as a second language when we moved to the States when I was seven. Too many r's get me in trouble :) Sabine

    30 Day Veggers - Day 7!!!

Hi Everyone, I was just reading the 30 day pledge post from the Open Discussion forums and a lot of you have recommended Moosewood as a good cookbook. Anyone have a preference? I see they've published quite a few. My boyfriend and I wouldn't mind becoming vegetarians. Trying to find good...

Waking up in the mornings ! Grrrr !

Yeah it's hard at 1st. As soon as the alarm goes off I sit up and get out of bed, change, and go workout. After 10 minutes or so of warming up I don't feel so tired. You could always get one of these alarm clocks I saw this person invent. The ends are kind of like the end of dumbells so as...

    Costco Wholesale

When Costco first opened in our area they were offering a free one year membership so it was worth trying it out. I've been a member ever since even though they up'd the membersip price this year. They always have good products. Also if you buy electronics there, they automatically extend the...

    Calf muscle size

I have big calves too and love boots. I've been able to find some with extended calf sizes on Ann Taylor Loft's website. They fit perfect. Eddie Bauer carries some as well.
