    Is P90X that great?

Really? The full package or just DVD's? It's $120 from TBB, and that's guaranteed. I've had other people buy it from ebay or other places and it's now the full set, only DVD's & no manuals, etc.

    Is P90X that great?

I'm with Sparrow. I love Cathe and she is what really got me into weight training, but P90X is what I really saw (and felt) results from. You have to really push yourself w/ P90X, I really saw how much heavier I could lift and can do full pullups from the program. I think it's an awesome...

Do you get a Flu Shot?

Yep, I'll get it. I've gotten it every year since I was pregnant. I've only had the flu ONCE and it was last year when I guess they had the wrong shot. My girls had the flu last year also and it was AWFUL! So this year they all want to get the shot too (thanks to Grandpa who said he'd give...

P90X: Classic or Doubles for fat loss?

Hey Leanne! I think that Classic OR doubles could help you lose body fat. (how's that for a good answer? LOL) I would lift heavy like Tony says, meaning 8-10 reps for each set w/ the heaviest weight that you can lift (with good form). And I highly recommend doing negatives for pull/ chinups...

    Who's pre-ordering Tracey's new yoga DVD?

Wow, that looks really good!! I did Bryan Kest's yoga y'day and while I like him, I agree he is a bit *touchy*. It would be nice to have something other than YogaX also!

    p90x vs cathe

Hey Jess! I absolutely love P90X. In some ways, it's tougher than Cathe. I find that I really pushed myself a LOT harder on the weights than I ever did w/ Cathe. Now going *back* to Cathe, I can lift a LOT heavier on her workouts!! I also could NEVER do chinups/ pullups before P90X. It really...

Books: Nutrition for optimal weight training results

I have it and have read it. It is a bit dry, but it did make me see the reasoning behind the rule of 4:1 carb: protein ratio that most people recommend post-workout. It goes into *why* you need the carbs, insulin post-workout, etc. I've also read the Abs Diet (and Abs Diet for Women...
