    xtrain/sts/lis rotation

This sounds like an interesting rotation. I don't have any particular recommendations on how to structure it, but I think it's a great idea. Let us know what u come up with!!!

    Jai Rocks!

I love watching Jai's form, Lorraine's exuberance, Brenda's tenacity, Cedie's encouraging smile, and Amanda's strength. Cathe has an amazing crew. But, yes, when I need inspiration, I look to Jai.

    What is Jai's routine?

Thx for responding Cathe!! It certainly gives me hope that even with a demanding life, I too, can have awesome abs. :-) I definitely have noticed a big difference in my body in terms of muscle definition once I started lifting heavy, particularly with STS. I just finished STS last month and I...

So what's your favorite Cathe background scenery?

The Hawaii set is my fave, followed by the NYC set. I like the XTRAIN set too but I would love the Hawaii set to be re-featured....

avoiding a "bulky" look on a petite frame

I've noticed this with Cathe too....she doesn't look as "cut" as she used to. Make no mistake, she looks awesome ("that girl is on fiiiiire!" A la Alicia keys), but her physique is different than it was, say, 5-10 yrs ago. Jai looks incredible though, and seems to look better now than ever...

    What is Jai's routine?

Have to say, Jai looks incredible in CF/TTM and in XTRAIN. I want her abs and legs... And her shoulders. :-) Does anyone know what her eating plan and exercise regimen are? She's incredibly inspiring.

avoiding a "bulky" look on a petite frame

I'm also short (5'3") with a very muscular frame. (People always say that I'm "tiny" though...I'm like, who are they talking about?!) I had always been afraid of heavy weights bc I was scared that I'd look really really bulky. But STS made me an absolute devotee of heavy weights. I leaned out...

Need help getting back on track

I can relate to everyone here. It's tough being a working mom (aren't all moms working moms, by definition? ;-), even more so if you're a single mom. Just wanted to offer my emotional support. :-) I don't know if I've hit upon the perfect recipe for balancing all of life's parts, but I basically...

    Incorporating running + Xtrain

I'm going to start XTRAIN today, but my plan is to run 3-4 days a week with the program. I'll probably do my runs (usually 30 min/3 miles) on the days when the XTRAIN workouts aren't as long. We'll see how it goes. :-)

    year 10 with Cathe workouts!

Congrats to all! I started with cathe in 1998 and couldn't be happier that I did. I'm finishing up my last week of STS now and have loved it!!! Will do it again later on in the year.

Biceps Tendinitis: How Can I Keep Lifting?

Very sage advice. I've rested for about a week and a half, and while my arm is still a little sore, it does feel a lot better. I'm going to rest for a few more weeks and see how things go. I think my issue probably is more with my brachioradialis than my biceps. **sigh** it's so hard to rest but...

Biceps Tendinitis: How Can I Keep Lifting?

hello cathe and all! i am halfway through STS mesocycle 2 and now have biceps tendinitis! :-( i know that the best thing to do is to REST for 4-6 weeks and not lift, but that is going to be so hard! i don't want to lose the gains that i've made with STS. has anyone else had this? how did you...

Hi everyone! Long time no....post? Life has been busy...u know how that goes. I just finished mesocycle 1 this weekend! I'm looking forward to starting M2. When did you really start noticing changes in your body with STS? After all 3 mesocycles? Just curious. I'm seeing some changes but not...

    STS first time!

Hi everyone! Jean, the broccoli bites recipe looks yummy!! If I can find a way to veganize it, that would be perfect! ;-) I will work on that.... My 4 yr old does eat broccoli but that's about the only veggie he will touch....he's a generally picky picky eater... Marie, your day sounded...

Hi Betty!! Glad to hear that I'm not the only sweets-aholic here!! ;-) I think you're right...there's something about fall/winter that just makes u want to bake pies and cookies...then promptly devour them!
