I'm looking for a face/hand/body lotion that is 100% organic, but is not greasy. And hopefully not ridiculously expensive. ;) Any recommendations?

    Creatine Use

I don't have any experience with it myself, but just wanted to mention that I had a patient (I'm a CT tech) who told me he had to stop taking creatine because his creatinine level (blood test for kidney function) was elevated which means he had a decrease in kidney function. So yes, I guess it...

    HIIT workouts

Yes, there is a cardio only premix and I consider it to a HIIT workout. There are 8, one minute intervals, but you have to time the pauses in between for yourself. You can always do it twice if you want a longer workout. Or you could add on the blasts from Kick Max if you have that one.

    Raw food cookbook?

Any recommendations? I'm not planning on switching to a mostly raw food diet, but would like to increase the amount of raw food that I do eat. So I'm looking for ideas for what to eat. Especially grains. What do you do with grains if you don't cook them??? Thanks!

Fibromyalgia Flare!!!! Please advice my fellow Cathletes!

Let me start by saying I don't have fibromyalgia, and I don't know anything about it, but when I was researching quercetin ascorbate, a supplement that my naturopathic doctor wanted me to take for other reasons, I kept seeing over and over again that it can help with fibromyalgia. It reduces...

    has anyone had adrenal exhaustion/failure?

I've been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue. I'm still working on recovering. I went to a naturopathic doctor and while I already knew I had adreanal fatigue, he surprised me by telling me that I have leaky gut which along with stress is wearing down my adrenals. He also said the leaky gut and...

    Baby carriers

Don't get the bjorn. There are far better carriers out there. Bjorns only last until baby is about 6 months old, same with stretchy wraps. I always used woven wraps and mei tai carriers and I still wear my 3 year old son in them. The bjorns can be very uncomfortable for baby and mom. The part...

    Eating/Shake before workout???

Dr Mercola says it's best for fat burning to not eat anything before working out. But he says if you need to eat to have enough energy for your workout then you should have 20 grams of protein 30 minutes before working out, but it should be protein only like a shake, but with nothing else in it...

Need some help coming up with a good workout plan

My favorites are 4DS and gym styles for splits and high reps for full body. Also butts and guts or lower body blast are killer lower body workouts and with butts and guts you get 2 ab workouts. Actually I would have to recommend 4DS the most out of that and GS because you get 4 really fun...

Trade MMA Fusion for MMA Boxing

Oh, I'm so sorry about your accident. That sounds rough. MMA Boxing is my absolute fave! I love this workout so much, it is so incredibly FUN! I do it pretty much every week. Unfortunatley though, you can't trade DVDs on these forums. I definitely recommend getting this one though. :)

    in abit of a pickle

I agree with the other posters that you're better off using dumbells than a bar that is one weight only. I frequently use dumbells instead of a barbell when I don't like using a barbell for a specific exercise or if I'm too lazy to switch weights on the bar. I know working out and being lazy...
