Fresh and Easy Applesauce

Fresh and Easy Applesauce

Ingredients

Apple 8 oz
Water 2 tablespoons
Cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon
Nutmeg a dash
Raisins, nuts ( optional)

Directions:

Core apple, do not peel.
Put in shallow bowl with two tablespoons water.
Microwave for 4 minutes on medium power. Check for softness, add a minute or two and check again. The apple should be quite soft.
Put soft apple and water into immersion blender cup. Blend on high until completely puréed, 1-2 minutes. Add spices and blend 30 seconds more. Add raisins and/or nuts if desired to make fresh and easy Applesauce.
