Shelley~ The leg workout was Legs with Weights and Stability Ball. I am telling you that I have not had DOMS like that in years. It's a keeper. How is Gerry?

I was so tight even after stretching last night that I popped in for a deep tissue massage. I feel great today.

Today was High Intensity Cardio Step Live. It was another good one.

Tomorrow is a rest day. I really need it as I have not had a rest day in almost 2 weeks. I am going to try and work on my rotation for a least the next week. I am going to use the basic format of Cathe's March rotation but use Live workouts if possible.

I most likely will not be back until Tuesday. Ryan and I are headed out for a weekend of gambling, eating and drinking :0

Lisa I looked that workout up - it's one I have not yet tried - it's from March 5, 2015. I seem to have shied away from some of the leg workouts because I know they will be tough. But I will be working towards it.

I am doing the same thing you are - I've got several rotations I am referring to, and subbing some of the workouts with Live. I do still want to keep familiar with the series dvd workouts though. I have done the one you did this morning but I can't remember much. I wish I had taken notes on the ones I really liked, or put a star next to their names on my list. I remember for sure liking her two PHAT workouts as well as vertical loading.

This morning was ICE Chiseled Upper Body but I had to go heavier than the cast as I wasn't feeling it. Maybe a sign I am getting stronger? Still cannot do straight leg pushups though.

Glad you are back Kathy. Busy seems to be all of our middle names, unfortunately. It makes life go by too fast.

Hi Kiran. Have you been around Berwyn lately? Still cannot believe our corporate center moved to Roswell Georgia. They had only been in Berwyn less than four years and skipped out on their lease at the building you met me at.

Hope you are feeling a bit better at least, Susan. Brace yourself for a cold weekend!
 
Looks like after nearly 45 Cathe Live performances, I finally met one I didn't at all care for. Cardio Mish Mosh from July of 2015. Too much jumping around for me. I used to like that but not anymore. I prefer the metabolic workouts that use weights to raise your heart rate.

Shelley - I have not tried that Live workout yet but I will have to give it a try. I am one that loves the jumping and plyo cardio workouts.

It was beautiful at the beach yesterday. We usually stay away from the boardwalk in AC since all the casinos closed (well a lot of them) but yesterday was so nice I could not resist. It really is a shame what happened down there.

Is anyone getting the new workouts for the Fit Tower? I am on the fence but will most likely cave.

Lisa---I doubt I'll order the new workouts. I'm hoping they'll be available OnDemand because they are Cathe's workouts unlike the previous ones.
The beach sounds wonderful!!! How often can you say you were at the beach in early March in NJ??

Hi ladies..

I decided to continue with doing whatever workout. The March rotation didn't excite me. So, yesterday I did Circuit Max and over the weekend I rested on Sunday (too busy with church/teaching religious ed and shopping). Saturday I did Kickmax.

Lisa: I am still thinking on the fit tower workouts. I wonder if the presale price will still be good after they post clips. I would like to see them first..Yeah on the beach. Sounds heavenly!!

HI everyone!!! Time to head home do lessons with Chris and do a workout. I haven't picked one yet. Something cardio though or maybe Lean legs and abs. I could use some work on the mid section/hips...

If you like high impact cardio there's lots to choose from in the Live workouts. Another one I almost did but after previewing it I changed my mind was Crossfire Express.

Yesterday I did Total Body Reps Live and I must say this was a phenomenal workout. I am so sore today and can't imagine what tomorrow will feel like. This had to be right up there with PHAT and Vertical Training as one of the best that Live has to offer.

This morning was a DVD - RWH Low Impact HiiT #2 + Bonus Abs #1

I have yet to do the DVD Butts and Guts except for the ball abs which is my all time favorite ab workout. I will try the Live version.

It seems that Live is more heavily geared to lower body and I hope some additional upper body training will come along.

I will be getting the new Tower workouts since I invested in the Tower a second time after having sold my first one.

We keep losing power. Temps are in the 50's but we are having a wind storm the likes of which I have never seen. Our winds are sustained at 50 mph and gusting into the 70 mph range - I almost fell down a couple times walking outside through the parking lot!
 
Today was All Out LI Hiit. I did not have the gumption to look for something that matched in the Live workouts and I really like that workout.
I really like the March rotation Cathe posted. It has some of my favorite DVD's and it's getting hard for me not to do them!
 
Hope all that snow isn't impacting any of you. It's cold here but no snow. The weekend is supposed to be frigid.

This morning was Live Bootcamp with Step. I enjoyed it and am surprised that it isn't on either of the Live rotations I keep referring back to. I think it can be made more challenging with the extra riser, I only used one, and weights as heavy as the class is using. Somehow I have not been feeling very strong lately and I notice the class is using what Cathe does in this one. I'm a bit behind since having that lag around the holidays.

I am anxious to try the live upper body workout from yesterday. I was just saying that I wish there were more upper body workouts on live.

Lisa I agree 100% that March's rotation has some of my favorite workouts as well!!! I am squeezing them in.
 
Ugh it's snowing here this morning and freezing. I can't STAND it. It's cold all through next week with a chance for more snow on Tuesday. I guess I should not complain as it's been a mild winter and the end is near.

Today was SS Bootcamp. It was not really that hard and I did not enjoy it. I should have done a Live Bootcamp.

Shelley - I am going to do the newest UB workout next week for my UB work!
 
It's snowing here too - we awoke to several inches. Also there is a snowstorm headed towards New England for Monday thru Wednesday that they now are saying is widening to include our area. I guess winter has finally arrived and just when we are ready for spring.

I hibernated today - just needed a day to stay completely at home and let everyone else do without me. Rare for me to not have to run crazy for someone.

I did two Live workouts today - the first was the newest one Upper Body with Core, followed by the second newest which is Love Those Legs. Now I am relaxing for the rest of the night.
 
We are suppose to get a major snowstorm tomorrow. I like mid to late March snow as it does not hang around for long!
Shelley~ How did you like the UB w/core? I might give that a try tomorrow as ICE Chiseled UB is on tap for tomorrow and I just feel like that workout is too easy.
Saturday was a rest day. Aside from going out to breakfast and a Target run, I was pretty lazy for the rest of the day.
Sunday was Rockem Sockem and today was Cardio Leg Blast. I love that workout.

Lisa it was ok - I didn't go quite as heavy as they did so maybe that's why it wasn't super challenging. I was disappointed in the core work. To me the best best best core workout is on the Butts and Guts dvd - the stability ball bonus. That one really gets my core shaped up.

I followed that upper body workout with the lower body workout.

Yesterday I only walked 3 miles outside - it was so absolutely freezing and I could not believe I kept going the entire route.

Today I did nothing. I allowed myself to sleep an extra hour due to the time change. I keep hearing how you can have a heart attack or experience jet lag the first Monday after time change and that the mere little hour really does make a difference. Gerry and I could not fall asleep last night so I didn't force myself to get up this morning.

We are headed for 12-18 inches between tonight and Wednesday night. My poor little baby brand new car :-(
 
It's been snowing since last night. We have about 8 inches and it's still coming down. I can't stand being stuck in the house and I have no motivation. A couple more weeks to Spring!

I did RWH Circuit UB and hopefully will get some gumption to do some yoga.

Anyone else have snow?
 
Hi ladies..

We did get some snow last night and this morning. Mostly it was freezing rain/rain/snow. I think we got about 3 inches. Yuck!! Thought we were done with the snow.

Today's workout was Cardio Core Circuit and yesterday I tried to do Flex Train and it got stuck in my DVD player and ended up scratched. So I did the new Bootcamp workout.

I ended up ordering a new Flex Train DVD and the new ones. I knew I would end up ordering them!! HAHA

We are all dug out of the snow. The closer I get to moving away from this the less toleration I have for it. :)

Hey All

Sorry I have been missing. The kids are doing ok and me too. Finally, at my PT I am beginning to trot on the dreadmill without too much pain.

I have been working out. We had about 9 inches and I am just tired from all that shoveling.
Susan, glad you are better.

Will be back in a bit to read all the messages.
